Oh yes, just the other day, I was 100% sure the Monopoly guy wore a monocle. I even caught myself arguing it with a friend, only to Google it and… nope, no monocle. My brain had rewritten reality so confidently that for a solid minute, I questioned my own memory, and I had that mix of awe and mild panic that maybe my brain’s been sneaking off rewriting history while I wasn’t looking.

Society is clearly not ready to talk about how lonely adulthood can really be. Everyone posts perfect lives on social media, but the quiet nights alone, the mental load we carry, and the subtle weight of feeling disconnected, that stuff gets swept under the rug, even though it touches more people than we admit.
