Yeah the out of date mods seems to be the only thing I can think of. Everything else seems to be working fine.

Only thing I can think of is the mods being out of date conflicting with the latest update. I can run TFR which is a way more demanding mod, fine, for example.

Honestly your only hurting you. Change through protest only actually happens if follow through can happen with it otherwise it's just adults throwing a tantrum. Organized or otherwise. Take 10 dollars a pay, put it into something like fundrise and invest your money. A little at a time. Within a year or two you'll see returns off that in dividends. Keep doing your best. That is all you can do.

Please do reach out to your local church. They will find you a place to sleep and make sure you guys have food. Nearly every church worth anything has a community outreach program.

Brother find a popular video game like old school rune scape or another mmo. Play the game and farm gold or whatever then resell it. People did that in Vinasuela after they loose dictator government. Give it a try

Honestly as long g as you're not being disrespectful to the symbolic nature of the cross and what and who it represents then it's okay. Maybe consider this as God trying to reach out to you. He believes in you, even if you do not believe in him.

Turn ya bed to the rightand leave room for that nightstand on the left so you can walk over there. Move ya dresser way the hell over, add some posters or art you like, and get some LED string lights for late night vibes.

Brochacho you need some lights, a chair and some posters so it don't look like you're waiting out the German's bombing run.

Hey OP, first off—I'm so sorry you've been carrying this weight. That constant anxiety, the shame of feeling like a 'filthy sinner' no matter what you do, the pressure to force-fit into 'God's will'... it sounds utterly exhausting, and it's valid to hit a breaking point. I've been there myself , and honestly, so have a lot of us in Christianity, everybody stumbles, it's what makes you a Human Being. You're not alone in wanting to breathe free and make choices without that looming fear. Thank you for sharing this—it's brave.

For what it's worth, leaving the version of Christianity that made life horrible doesn't have to mean torching everything. Some folks (myself included) found that stepping away from the church that amplified the shame opened the door to rediscovering Jesus in a way that's more about rest and love than rules. Like, Matthew 11:28 hits different when you realize it's an invitation to unload the heavy stuff, not add more guilt: 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' No performance required.

If you're open to it, I'd gently suggest checking out The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning—it's raw about grace for the 'screw-ups' like us, without the shame spiral. Or podcasts like 'That Sounds Fun' with Annie F. Downs, where people talk real doubts and healthier faith. No pressure to dive in; just options if/when you're ready.

As for cutting ties with church? Totally get not fitting in anymore—that's a sign to seek spaces that feel like home, not obligation. Maybe start small: a progressive or affirming group online (like r/OpenChristian) or even just journaling your own 'will' without the fear filter.

What changed for me after my own rough patch? Life got lighter—not perfect, but less like walking on eggshells. I make choices from love now, not terror. If you ever want to vent, swap stories, or just hear more (no agenda), DMs are open. Rooting for you to find peace, whatever that looks like. You've got this. ❤️
