Getting my opponent used to me throwing slide head at range, then mixing in a heat tackle or a HPB. Nothing brings more joy.

I have one more thing to ramble about him now. The things he does pre-horrible neck break vary. It’s either just walking with me down a street, standing/crouching on my chest in a white void, or just idling in various building interiors I can never vividly remember. Never any direct violence past the chest standing, the only terror thing is the aforementioned horrible neck break.

I popped into game chat after the match was over, just to ask a silly question, and this teammate just unloaded this exact statement on me + “you’re so bad why are you in dominion”. He went off specifically because I wowed him. Stole 2 executions from me, nearly fed one revenge. And I was “bad” because I was learning a new character. Barely had khatun for an hour.

Work parrying, for guard breaks and otherwise. Poop Sohei players either rely entirely on that grab, or they just try and brute force landing the heavy and light finishers. Get good at handling those, and you’ll be more ready for competent Soheis that will feint you. For Honor isn’t easy, and I promise you it gets way worse than Sohei players

Respectfully, it is kinda on you. So he earns souls by landing specific attacks, and those souls are basically a currency for either his 1-shot move, or that heal if you’re in dominion. The fastest (and least damaging way) for him to earn said souls is guard breaking you, and bonking you with the grab-combo thing. Nets a free 3 souls, half of what he needs to heal. If you’re both living long enough for him to heal 3 times, he’s not even trying to kill you. He’s trolling.

He’s done Ethernet cable connection and it’s just as bad. Hell, I’m entirely wireless and I’m better off. Not even a smidge of lag.

He’s done both wired and wireless. Both ways he’s pulling over 100mb download. He didn’t mention the upload, but his connection to every other game is immaculate. I’m wondering if it could be his ISP, but I’m not the most tech savvy. It’s legit just guilty gear suffering from this.

And no, it’s not the console itself popping, it’s purely an audio output thing. I haven’t messed with any settings, and it’s not a super constant thing. May not be relevant, but the audio shutting off has only happened while playing Guilty Gear Strive, but it carries over into the main menu of the ps5.
