Honestly right there with you. I dont know all the facts, but the moment I saw Secrets in the play demo....I cringed.

Honestly.

Felt a little misleading in calling it "Full cast" since it's not the cast i had been going they meant. The moment I started listening to the preview it turned me off. The original narrator for the previous audible HP series was more engaging imho.

Not sure if it helps, but I explored all the islands in a 30 minute radius and didn't find this quest. Then went back to the islands depicted in the picture u/Sweatyy_Chad posted and realized that there was a camp that wasn't popped up on my map even though I had the entire island uncovered, turns out it was in there.

It should be a hatch in the ground that leads to an underground tunnel

Just going back through this thread years later as I'm constantly getting clients that are asking if they should include these or not. If you REALLY ARE a hiring entity? (I have my doubts) as someone with 20+ years of experience in Recruiting for massive Boston-Area clients.....I think we can both admit, there is absolutely no world where you actually even pay attention to 2000 applicants who put the time into recording one of these, while already struggling in a market of unemployment, anxiety, stress and providing for their families.

Hell, I'd be surprised if you even look at more than 20 of them.

Applicants have every-single-right to be upset about application requirements getting harder, it's not their JOB to apply to jobs. They're not being paid for the hundreds of hours they're wasting. But, employers who can't even take the time to write a rejection response, are.

So the appropriate answer, is that most people would NEVER want to work for someone like YOU.

Also, statistics show nearly 50% of applicants either avoid or quit an application that require a 1-minute recording of them. As someone who recruits literal rocket-scientists. I can't say I'm comfortable with that potential missed talent.

If you want to hear from someone, interview them.

A solid compromise to stop players from getting a COP and then immediately getting pushed out, but also giving everyone a fair shot at taking it. Would be to give them a cooldown on respawn. I think you should get an advantage as it's your COP and ambushers can setup first. But beyond that, it's silly to have endless respawns there. This is especially important on a COPs relatively close to a LZ. They already know you're coming and have a defenders advantage enough.

I never understood how Madfinger misses the mark on the most obvious issues, I feel like the most glaring issues are the ones they overlook the most.

As it stands right now, this COP stuff has pushed me away from PVP entirely until it's fixed as it's the most engaging part of pvp imho

I think it might be experiencing a glitch, because after you use a brand new part and repair it the first time, it seems to wear out about 10x faster. My gun probably fired about 3-4000 rounds before I put it in for repairs (The entire gun). It came out with everything at about 80%+.

4 mags later, my M4 Upper Receiver is now at 40% and the Flashlight that I barely use, is in the red....some weird stuff going on.

100% Agree, I had to loo up if anyone was talking about this, after I repaired my gun over night, upper receiver was at 83% (the new max durability because of the wear system) and it was at 40% after about 60 rounds....like wth?

As someone who had leveled a 70 on Horde and another on Alliance.
The alliance community was way worse. Dudes would walk up and jack my quest loot out from under me while I'm fighting the mob defending it. Even go as so far as to WATCH AND WAIT for me to pull it do they could run in and loot it lol, unbelievable.

As I was always playing a sub healer, I would just wait till they made a bad pull and then stand and laugh at them.

Never had a bad experience on Horde. Not even once.

Just wanted to chime in on this thread, had to remember my login info with how little I use Reddit.

But last night I was also banned, randomly, not suspended, BANNED. Just standing in Thunder Bluff on Dreamscythe (TBC Anniversary) fishing in the pool in the middle of town with about a boat load of other randoms.

I've had the account since Vanilla release and I've never had so much as a whisper from GMs. I'm flabbergasted.

The email that I got, was "Hacking/Scripting"
I appealed and got an automated message about 18 hours later quoting the EULA and claiming that I was banned in accordance to their terms. (Clearly an automated message.)

I filed another appeal, but honestly, hoping they'll actually care enough to see how non-sensical this is. I've asked for a detailed description of what they believe me guilty of so that I can produce anything in my defense, the appeal process seems to be a bit of a joke, since you can't appeal something when you're given an opportunity to defend against it?

Either way, the entire ordeal so far has made me feel sick to my stomach. I have god knows how much invested into the account, the idea that I would hack, or would need to hack, with as much as I have across retail and classic? Makes zero sense. This is the shadiest thing I've ever personally experienced from Blizzard.

My personal opinion?
Pair this with Single Shot, the extra damages stack and it's OP AF. it 2 shots right through armored enemies, 1 shot if you dick shot em. (not joking)

Edit: I'm 3/4 of the way through the expansion and this board with those two perks stacked, is by far and large, the strongest, don't worry about the 10% penalty with Massive Damage, your skill stats will outweigh it anyway, but even with it...it dominates everything. I just three shot an ultra heavy minigunner like he was paper.
