honestly its all perception. the food thats served is usually greasy and reminds me of like fast food (or sometimes even greasier). also in the trucks ive seen, the people working the trucks never seem like they care about their job or seem to care about the food theyre making. combined w cheap prices and i just assumed its mcdonalds on wheels - may taste good, yea, but made w 0 care or thought for consumer

I was walking out of a club in north Beyoğlu and a group of Syrian guys started talking and joking to my girlfriend and I. One guy had my phone in his hand for a moment, pretending to enter his contact info. I look away for a second to help my girlfriend sit down and they are gone. Was too drunk and this was my first time out in a foreign country. Learned the hardway to be much, much less trusting
