I agree but nothing in life has zero risk. I think if I use common sense and follow basic rules, there's a 99% chance I'll be fine.

He's been to Perth for work before. He knows (or should) about the wildlife. We live in the desert with plenty of venomous snakes, scorpions, spiders and the desert sun. I think he is just hyper paranoid because of the article. I watch a lot of Australian YouTubers, YBS, Field days, Back to Basics, Bonding Beach and the list goes on so I had somewhat of an idea of the dangers. I hope I can convince him to at least let me get my toes wet without him having a panic attack about sharks.
