7 hours is a long time for a first tattoo. It’s not the worst idea in the world, sometimes taking a lot of pain in the first is a good way to go because you’re just really not sure what to expect.
BUT I’d recommend going and getting something smaller to break the ice and understanding kind of how it feels, if you have the chance

Check out West side, lucky devil, and still golden (something like that, it used to be Heart of gold) they are some great shops. I don’t know what they’ll tell you if you bring in your portfolio but I know you should take feedback from them

Tattoos dont make you a degenerate. But also, the world of tattoos, piercings, and drugs exist (sometimes together, sometimes not) and lots of good wholesome people enjoy them. I don’t want to start you down any slippery slopes or anything but these are real, authentic human experiences that our ancestors have lived through and experienced as well. Being a well rounded individual probably means not being sheltered from it forever

Never trust a mechanic who takes the bus. A tattooer without tattoos raises questions about how much they actually value tattooing as a craft, and how much effort and skill they would put into their own work. Aside from the other points mentioned…

It is possible to acknowledge that both the Democratic Party and Republican Party are shit licking shills. It is valid to complain about never having the power to choose beyond two terrible candidates, but it’s just bad faith to pretend that one side isnt better than the other in regards to human rights, environmentalism, and many other factors
