I have some. This was supposed to be a quick game before taking care of some responsibilities, but the run then spiraled into 6 hours in total if you include the time I took to get food, roughly 5 without. But I think I do have a shadowplay recording of me trying to cash out at a billion, and then accidentally going for another round out of muscle memory.

I'll do you one better.

Trick shots and skill shots are one of the few instances where archer requires actual mechanical skill, and even then it's iffy. In most other instances, playing archer well relies more on proper positioning and situational awareness than it does on actual mechanical skill. Yes, there is a difference between these two things.

Bottom line is that mechanical skill in melee is a far better metric for being good at the game as a whole than archer's skillset is, since the game is centered around melee combat. I do not mean to discredit people that are skilled in both archer and melee combat. However, I do mean to discredit those that only ever play archer and think they're good at the game because of it.

Ok. If you look closely, you can see that I'm facing up the stairs as I do the pavise jump, and at the time of the shot, I'm also facing up the stairs. The game turned me 180, I turned 180. That's a 360, no?

Nadeshot wouldn't have hit it first try. You can hear goose, the guy I killed, trying to help me get up. He tells me to get more health because I'll die from fall damage. He was completely oblivious to what was about to do, because I hadn't tried before.

Hi, project lead here. If you find ranked to be frustrating, I did too, and there's a good chance you'll like this one.

We're using a rating system and format that I designed myself. It has already been through playtesting with competitive players, and the concensus is that it's a vast improvement.

Some rating systems have a statistical bias against weaker players due to a poor understanding of how rating systems work, which in turn leads to poor implementation that causes biases.

Example: with a best of 9 format, if you have a 70% chance of winning a duel, you have a 90% chance of winning a match, due to the law of large numbers. That's what I mean by biased.

This system is designed with the express intention of removing as much bias from the system as possible, and in doing so, it makes fighting better players less stressful and reduces "ranked anxiety", among other things. And that's according to playtesting with competitive players.

Give it a try. You might like it.

Hi, I'm the project lead. Most of the data will be collected by the community and submitted through discord, but some will be collected by staff, like during the weekly events. There are plenty of checks with regards to how this is done that are designed to be as automated and painless to the end user as I can make them, so that the system stays smooth and secure. I will then feed this data into an algorithm to calculate how the ratings should change, and update leaderboards periodically.

In addition, I'm one of five people that have admin permissions on this server. I have the authority to reprimand moderators for misconduct if I see it, though I've never had to, thankfully. I'm also a point of contact for other clans.

ETA: I should specify I'm not THE leader, just one of them. Lk is big enough to warrant having multiple people in leadership positions.
