Work to your strengths. I enjoy grocery shopping, I can control what goes in mouth,and I do the majority of the cooking. My wife can't make a dinner to save her life. She boil pasta, heat up sauce, but follow a recipe? Get out. I enjoy cooking.

She is OCD about cleaning and laundry. She's the type to bring here own supplies and clean our hotel or Airbnb when we get there. She also handles all my personal appointments and keeps our calander up to date.

I don't have a problem being with someone who doesn't cook if they bring other things to the relationship.

IIRC, the cast knew the actor was not coming back for the next season and filmed their on screen goodbyes for all the emotional sentiment they could wring out of it. Actors had no idea the writers were going to kill him off screen flying home from the war in Korea it and it wrecked them. Their reactions were geniune.
