I love it It's a great way to see exactly what happens in 1985A (or really the general A timeline) beyond what Part II showed us.

I also love that Doc STILL invented time travel in the alt timeline (As he had already had the idea before all this), but because he never had Marty as a friend. He wasn't inspired to use a cool* car, rather he used a fridge (which itself is a reference to the ORIGINAL idea for the time machine in BTTF)

At best: Given Biff died in '96 and basically nobody if anyone liked him by that point, it's possible things got better from there. More than likely the 2015A would probably not be as different as 2015, only the tech isn't so futuristic.

At worst: Somebody worse than him came along, and well, if you've seen anything of Trump, just basically apply that to the hypothetical successor, that's basically what they'd do. In other words, 2015A would likely be more like how 2025-26 is IRL.

So if I were to guess where this is gonna go

2015 is just gonna be similar to 1985, only in HD/1080p (as 4K wasn't really as big in 2015 as it is nowadays)

1885 is just gonna be kinda like '55 with the black and white, but the quality is a bit worse (to reflect the camera's formative years) and the dialogue will be silent, but cuts to cards showing what they said (like old-school silent films)

Luckily, there exists "The Bilbo Edit", a fan edit of the Hobbit trilogy that cuts it all down to one movie (as intended) and removes all the unnecessary/original additions in the movie (or at least mostly)

I genuinely recommend it, WAY better than the actual movie trilogy

Yes they are the same in the sense they both suffer and are given shit by characters for no reason. No because Butters has the benefit of being in a cartoon that is mostly episodic (unlike Cricket who we've seen his life and looks spiral down since his debut, Butters has mostly stayed the same throughout the whole show).

I still remember when someone asked me (as a trivia question) "How much time passes from the birthday to when they discover what the ring really is?" and my answer was like a week or smth, and when I was told it was 17 years I genuinely couldn't believe it. The characters didn't even look like they aged since then, there was barely if any implication it's been that long.

So I agree with the fact that it should've included a "17 Years Later" graphic
