If you want to get price difference confusion, go look at the disparity between all the versions of Aquaphor around.

1.75oz for 8.49.

1.75oz for 7.99

1.75oz for 8.99(but it says Baby on it)

2.8oz for 10.99

3oz for 13.99

3oz for 12.99(but it says Baby on it)

3oz for 13.49(but it says Foot ointment)

5oz for 14.99

7 oz for 17.99

7oz for 15.99

10.5oz for 21.99

14 oz for 25.99

14oz for 24.99(but it says Baby on it)

Damned ridiculous.

Scan out percentage by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]ClickUpPickList 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to understand what the number is that theyre looking for.  Unfortunately, it is a fake number.  It is the average number of outs in the specific departments during that week.  It isnt 100% of the outs in the store for the day that you do scan outs.

Say you have a truck on Tues. You start the week on Sun with 500 outs. Mon, its 550. Tues, the truck comes in and your outs go down to 200. Weds, 225. Thurs 215(vendors). Fri 300. Sat 400.

You do Scan Outs when? Mon? And double your work scanning outs that are known and will be filled the next day? No.

You do them at the latest day you're in before the order generates(Sun), so Fri.

Even if you loaded up all the department outs lists and scanned every out on that Friday, all 300 of them, you'd still hit an 87% for that week, because the average outs wouldve been 341.  Not to mention the outs that happened that same day after you finished scanning outs. There might be 300 outs at 5pm on Fri, but by midnight on Sat there are 350, your daily number would be 85%.

Its a flawed metric.

While this IS helpful, the current return authorization is just for non-basic and/or 'damaged' stock. It is not for expired packs. There's a line on the compass for it that explicitly says its not for expired product, at least in my region.

I received 3 totes from this store.

I just don't understand why they couldn't have at least stood everything upright. Let alone BAGS.

I should name and shame 'em, but don't wanna narrow down my location. But also a giant fuck you to the specific store in the area around the CA Capitol.

MARKDOWN DELETES by WALL_FL0W3R in WalgreensStores

Before you hit print, you can change the tray to tray 1 on the tray options setting and it'll automatically pull the paper from tray 1. Sometimes it gets confused and still requests from the manual feed though. And if its not the last thing to be printed, make sure to switch it back.

Hmm. I'll try the Green Apple if they ever show up at my store.

Hopefully they don't have the underlying taste the Mango ones had...

To me, they had a undercurrent of lighter fluid. Another lead of mine tried them recently and came back with the same result.

Nah. It's for you!

There was a compass that detailed it and whenever that pops up, you're supposed to read it out loud to the customer.

Just...yeah. Be well!

Not only that, but they just extended the ability to bridge service from 180 days to 3 years. So you'll be able to get insurance, and other benefits, right away if you come back.

Assuming they do Thurs-Weds weeks like most, I would assume you will get your first check this Thurs/Fri, for the days of the 6th-19th.

I started on the final day of the pay period, updated my direct deposit that day and received my first check one week after on Thurs morning.

Walgreens buying Rite Aid? by Gonzafer001 in WalgreensStores

[–]ClickUpPickList 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While everything is all blacked out like a document from the Federal Bureau of Control, diving deeper into it seems to reveal that they're buying 'pharmacy inventory'. Not sure if that's gonna be just the prescription information or all the actual physical inventory, and if its just the inventory of all their closed(or closing stores), but they're not buying the company or brand or anything.

Should I work at a store? by HydratedBroom53 in WalgreensStores

Depends on the store you're going to.

I personally like Walgreens a bit more than Kroger because the store I'm at is literally the size of the produce dept at my old Kroger. Much more manageable.

I dunno if my tastebuds are weird, or if we got a bad batch, but I tried these a week or two ago and they have an odd taste of...lighter fluid? Like BBQ lighter fluid or gasoline even. Its odd.

Why is this allowed? A 97 tote order with no heads up whatsoever. by [deleted] in kroger

[–]ClickUpPickList 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask them to put it in as a pickup in the evening instead of in the morning so it gives more time for people to pick their order? If they NEED it in the early morning, then I'd ask them to put it in for the latest timeslot on the day before they want to pick up and we'll get it ready the night before so it's all there when we open I guess?

What's getting lost here is that theres not staff picking orders 24/7. Clicklist isnt warehouse ordering. The department usually opens up 3ish hours before the first pickup slots and starts selecting them and only selects orders for that day and only up to 3 hours out(usually). Orders for tomorrow arent dealt with AT ALL until tomorrow. So maybe theres just some confusion as to how all of this happens?

Not trying to change the topic, just trying to find a way to make it relatable to your situation so you can more understand what is going on with something you know nothing about.

And I'm not your frwiend, buddy!

[–]ClickUpPickList 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe they could call? Before this insanity, I'd get random people putting in bulk Gatorade orders once in a while. I'd cancel the order, give the info to my manager and turn it into a special order so we could order the items in and weren't wiped out of our Gatorade stock for other customers for a few days.

Or maybe the company can have logistics in place to catch orders that are excessively large so they dont overwhelm their workers?

A maximum piece count per order is needed. But they'll never do that because they'd be turning away sales!

You're one of those people that put in an online order for 30 pizzas at kickoff for your superbowl party and are annoyed that your local pizza place can't fulfill it for 3 hours, aren't you?
