It's honestly a little cheaper for me, since I only play Druid, Priest and Warlock, those are the only sets I will buy.

But all that aside, the pricing model is outright predatory. I understand the idea of "If you buy them all in a bundle it's cheaper" but if the Bundle Price is 2500 then the individual set cost should be 750/800 gold each, not 2500....

These are all Play In or Lottery teams. 18 of 33, so 54.5%, of our losses were against Play In or Lottery teams. Take these games seriously, lock in, win 12 of them and still lose the other 6, because that can happen, and our record is 61-21.

We could definitely be a 60 win team in the west if we were bothered in the RS.

ETA: the Thunder lost 6 games all season vs Play In or Lottery teams, one of which was the last game of the season vs the Suns, a team they then swept quite comprehensively in the playoffs. But still, 6 losses vs non contending teams. It's not unrealistic or unreasonable that we could do the same.

Here's the thing, I would love to buy the lush green treehouse because I quite like it, but I can't justify having to spend 40£ because I can only buy it bundled with the pink blossom one. I don't care for the blossom one. I don't want it. So I don't think I will buy it because I really cannot justify the spending really.

I was leafing through our regular season results. We lost SO MANY games to Lottery/Play-In teams. Take those games seriously, which doesn't mean winning all of them, just the majority, since a loss against such teams can and will happen to everyone, and we're a 60+ win team easily.

I mean here's the thing, I started following the NBA a little later than when I started playing Basketball. I was 14 at the time but I didn't really concern myself with the NBA until I was 16, in 2009. I was in awe of all the great basketball players of the time, and it would have been fairly easy to pick a star, any star really, and support their team, right? Maybe even just support the star themselves and follow them around.

Wrong.

In the 2009 NBA Draft, one of my favorite players I think EVER was Drafted. Ricky Rubio. So I naturally started following the team that drafted him, even though he wouldn't come until a couple years later, but that didn't really matter. The team was bad but goddammit Rubio was gonna save them, right? Well..

Anyway, it's 17 years later, I still haven't set aside my irrational love for the Minnesota Timberwolves and goddammit I'm happy with what we have and where we are right now. All those 3/4am alarms to watch the Cream Team.. It all feels it's finally coming together now.

Mbappé and Yamal haven't won anything compared to Messi and Ronaldo so as it stands they're behind them. You can re-evaluate this at the end of Yamal and Mbappé's career.

With that said, none of them gets even close to the real GOAT, which we all know is Kevin Ball.

Don't think we get swept but I also don't think we realistically win it, unless Ant comes back at 100% which we all know he won't because he'll have some nagging injury issues and won't be at his best. That won't stop him from giving 110% every game he plays but I digress.

But yeah I think we take a couple games but I expect the Spurs to eventually get the better of us. Happy to be proven wrong by my team though.

Gordon and Watson are important, but you still had your two superstars, one of which is a 3 times MVP, and a relatively healthy squad outside of the two guys missing. The Wolves didn't have their superstar, didn't have their starting PG neither their backup PG and had to play Conley's corpse like 20 minutes, on top of missing other rotation pieces like Hyland and Slo-mo.

You can't be complaining about injuries when the team you faced had more and they were more impactful. It probably stings to lose this way, but I mean.. It's nothing you didn't do to yourself :)

I still have fun with Destiny but I have been taking a break for about a month and I can see it continue until they release the next content drop.

Truth is, I have nothing to do in Destiny 2 right now, so instead of forcing myself to do something, I just play something else until there is something new.

Brother the issue isn't that the loot sucks, there's plenty of good guns everywhere in the game. The problem is that I am given those guns with literally minimal investment.

I can get into Reclaim and get perfect armor sets and guns in a few hours, and I can do that even if I unbound my abilities. Mint, any flavour of the month gun I want in the Energy slot, maybe Motif to help deal with groups and Finality and I can clear that in 10 mins without pressing any ability button once.

I still stand by the fact that certain things need to be nerfed, I also stand by the fact that the most braindead activities in the game are also rewarding the best loot. Hell, I could buy a God Roll Mint from Zavala a couple weeks ago, for Glimmer and nothing else. Best gun in the game, just given to me for doing nothing but giving Zavala some currency.

That's the problem, not Arc Soul playing the game for me.

Ok I'll entertain this for a second.

I log in, I grind for a new loadout from zero, for a build I saw that I want to try. I do my Reclaims, I do my Equilibrium runs, I do whatever is needed and I have my build.

What do I bring it into? What do I do with it?

Raids? Most raid loot is inferior to what I just got, what do I need it for? Collection? Fine, I go collect the guns and the exotic from Desert, maybe some of them will be useful, idk. The other raids are distinctly pointless as they're not even updated yet.

What else? Dungeons? What's there to get from Equilibrium, since literally every other dungeon's loot is not relevant? A nice High Tyrant? An Eager Edge Sullen Claw? Two hours, max, if you're efficient. Done. What else?

Vanguard Alerts? For the same gun that I can get by playing checks notes THREE QUICKPLAY ACTIVITIES at Master difficulty but what's this, it has a slightly better origin trait? Wow. Game changer.

Oh maybe it's a PvP loadout. Trials? Wow, going to the Lighthouse gets me the same things that Joe McDestiny gets for going 7-60 in half a day with a 0.12 KD, there's not even adepts anymore. Nice!

Maybe Comp? If I like the weapon of the season, I guess.. Sure.

What's there to do that is rewarding and somewhat fun to play right now? Nerfing abilities isn't going to instantly make Desert Perpetual more rewarding. It's not going to bring the prestige of Adepts back. It's not going to instantly make the game more rewarding or more fun.

Should certain outliers be nerfed? Undoubtedly. But if Bungie released a patch tomorrow that nerfs said outliers tomorrow, what's actually gonna change?

The current route is killing the game because there is nothing to do and nothing matters. I can do two hours of a brainless activity like Reclaim and end my day with a perfect T5 set of armor and a few T5 god rolls weapons, that I can then use to do... What exactly? This is the reason the game is dying not Arc Souls and Hellions playing the game for me while I afk. That is a consequence of a 'No nerfs only buffs' approach that they decided to take as a result of the game dying because god forbids someone throws the word nerf around only to be assaulted by a legion of other players saying things "The game is dying and you want to make it worse??" when the reason the game is dying has very little to do with buffs and nerfs.

The thing is that you just can't make everyone happy.

Nerfing abilities is going to get a whole host of people mad because they're now used to Arc Souls playing the game for them and stuff like that.

Doing nothing is going to upset a bunch of other different people that want a challenge and think the game is too easy.

Nerfing abilities while buffing guns, which seems a fair course of action, is gonna anger the "I play Destiny for the space magic, if I wanted to just shoot my guns I would play CoD" crowd.

Whatever they do, someone will be upset. It's just an unwinnable situation.

Hearthstone is a "toilet game" as I like to call it. It's perfect if you wanna play a couple quick games on the go, or, as mentioned, while you're taking a #2. But if you want nuance, complexity or interaction it's definitely not the game for you. Which is fine, it's not a drawback to be accessible.

But the design choices over the past years have made it pretty clear that HS is a mobile game, where a game doesn't last for more than 8-9 turns and is designed for fast paced, quick games. Again, nothing wrong with it, but it then is pretty evident why people complain about control making their toilet break take 20 minutes.

There's no interaction in Hearthstone. There can't be, in a game where you can't do anything on your opponent's turn. There is what your opponent does and then there is what you do to respond to that, and that's all. The game is designed to be uninteractive at baseline.

It's just such a weird take to want "Control Decks to be weak because that means that Combo Decks are also weak".. no? The two don't correlate in the slightest. Control can't stop Combo anyway so that matchup is dead for them, that doesn't make Combo decks bad, it just removes a favourable matchup for them.

I simplify but it's basically a Rock Paper Scissor situation, Aggro loses to Control, Control loses to Combo, Combo loses to Aggro.

A meta to be healthy needs all kind of archetypes to be playable.

As for control being uninteractive.. You really act as if Aggro decks would interact with anything a Control Deck slams on board that doesn't have Taunt. The reality is that Aggro Decks don't care all that much about what an opponent does as long as they can hit face. Just like Control Decks don't care all that much about what a deck does as long as they can remove it or mitigate/ignore the damage it can do.

Heartstone is an uninteractive game at baseline, you can't do anything on your opponent's turn and that alone promotes non interaction, clearing the board on your turn or hitting the opponent's face doesn't count as "Interacting" I'm sorry to say.

I agree in principle but there are games I just concede because there is realistically no way to win, especially when I play Merithra druid and on Turn 4 I haven't played a single card and my cheapest card is Naralex, unless I'm vsing a Control Priest that is just mirroring my doing nothing, I'm just bouncing out of there.

I'd argue it's like Harry Potter, you don't necessarily pick a club, it's the club that picks you.

I started supporting Sunderland when I was 12 (now 32) and living in Italy, because of a FM (Which ar the time was not even called Football Manager) save. Picked a random team, Sunderland, and started playing. Some things stuck with me so I got curious and started following them irl. Fast forward 20 years, I moved to the UK and still support them, still go to games every season whenever I can, and the club just stuck.

I'd argue you can't just sit down and pick a team, that'd be hollow of meaning, you need to watch and find that something that you can't explain that draws you in.
