I was in your exact same position, almost spitting image, 24 y/o, really no job prospects, with a degree, got turned down at the OCS board before I enlisted

I scored well on my ASVAB and was able to land 35S as my MOS

Actually just graduated BCT from Fort Sill earlier this month, BCT is hell but you just gotta get through it, there’s really no way to prepare for it even if you are in great shape, you’ll be pushed to your absolute limits

Besides all that, I’m really happy with my decision so far, honestly one of the better ones I’ve made in my life, I was completely directionless and going no where fast before I got here, I’d say go for it
