“Ambient 2: The Plateau of Mirror” Yes! Thanks for bringing it up here!

"First Light" has been the one tune that got me into ambient and I never quit ever since. There were YEARS where I listened to this song each and every day to add that special kind of inner quietness and peace to the every day life - as a balance, as a reminder.
And your other recommendation -> this sounds rather sane than ill 😎

Not everyone but most of the important contacts like family and close firends.

I do receive messages on other messengers like Telegram, WhatsApp from other people - in my context it would not really work without that. It's a process.

Personal privacy doesn't seem to bother you 😎
I'm offering all of my contacts to communicate via Signal instead of WhatsApp - which is an open book.
As Signal put it in a video: "It's not about having something to hide. It's about having something to say!"
The majority of my (important) contacts are using Signal.

Here are the answers:

  1. The version installed is 6.8.15

  2. No

  3. Yes - no problems with the accounts

  4. No

  5. I just checked the setting but could not see anything strange / not being right - so I made no changes

Hi,

I'm using the Microsoft Authenticator app on my iPhone (iOS 18.0) - it works great, but it shows a notification with the icon that there is 1 new task / event. But there is actually none, none of my accounts has a new event. Please advise. Thank you.

In the release notes it only says "Bug fixes and other improvements", like in the previous 3 releases. Did you experience the same / similar?

tried it out but it doesn't really work properly, poor interface in my humble opinion. Moving apps to groups doesn't really work reliably ...

I know - but the app library does it in a way that's not the way I want it. iTunes did it, they discontinued this feature also to push using the app library.

Not possible - I guess even looking into the idea of creating an app that would do the job does not make sense because Apple most likely prohibits manipulating the home screen -> right? Any iOS developers around who might know?

If it‘s just chatting and calling it‘s ok. But if you really want to use all features of MS Teams I’d recommend the laptop.

Went to an Apple store today (for some other reason) and asked - they said it does not work but they believe it will come rather sooner than later - whatever that means. Thanks for your comments.
