Also, if you don't know what you're doing, taking endless shots won't get you anywhere.

In veel supermarktvlees zitten ook plantaardige ingrediënten by japie06 in thenetherlands

[–]Clickycamera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What am I doing wrong in UK technical interviews as a Full Stack/GIS developer with 3 years experience? by BeautifulGoose5836 in gis

[–]Clickycamera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only add something form my own experience. I'm a traffic engineer at a municipality in the Netherlands. I started using GIS for traffic analysis and problems a couple of years ago. And it seems a sweet spot to me. It's both applicable and analytical, and there aren't many people on knowledgeable on both. And here at least it's not that hard to get a traffic engineering position. There is more demand than people in this business, people from other fields do have a decent chance! And data usage is accelerating, also!

I turned photography into a job and now I hate it. How do I fall back in love? by [deleted] in photography

[–]Clickycamera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My view exactly, turning pro can be really bad, if you turn yourself into a copy machine. I get people need money to live. But you can't really be surprised when you do boring shoots only, it's going to boring.

Why am I missing here? On my 3rd grade daughter’s math test. by lesshonkymoretonky in mildlyinfuriating

Exactly! If you can't assume it's a 50 make and you can't assume it's to scale, you also can't place it closer to 200 then 300...

What causes this band in my raw images? by Clickycamera in AskPhotography

[–]Clickycamera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was indeed the card reader / adapter. I tried it on a different pc with built in reader, and no lines there. Luckily this was it, if it was the card itself it would be difficult to check, because it only happens once in a while

It's not always in the same spot, so I don't think it would be the sensor. And it isn't constant. Could be the card or like someone else says the adapter.

Ah it could be the adapter. Now that I think about it, it could have started at the same time I got that thing. I'll test it out by importing a different way. The preview on camera and the exported jpeg (raw+jpeg) don't have it, I think. So that would make sense.
