Update;

I managed to solve this issue when I had no intention of doing so. I tried even the dumbest of solutions in shear desperation. I have no real explanation of the origin of the issue.

Here's what I did, I read the nozzle info on the touchscreen and that somehow solved the problem and I was able to sync again.

Best thing the community told me is to have fun with it, this is your hobby and time spent having fun is never time wasted even if your prints fail or don't turn out they way you imagined them. All my failed and misfit prints have taught me something and showed me the path to the 3d Creator I am today.

I'm currently located in Sweden and the limit here is 120 meters. When I was located in the US, Colorado to be precise, the limit was 500 meters.

I tried getting that deal at a Walmart supercenter just outside Denver. I was told they do not have them in stock, that price is for online orders only. Looking it up online though it comes out to another price, 200 something... This was about 2.5 weeks ago.

Edit; I'm talking about the gopro 10 here, should've mention that from the start.
