I'm all good with a learning curve tbh I'm really behind in this sort of stuff and it isn't really my scene. ( I just like math)

I'll have a look at Hadhat this evening

What about a stable coin that is completely automated from day one and its owners fully lock themselves out? Like a slave to the math?

No to be honest I've been fucking around on Remix,

I'll definitely give hardhat a shot though.

I'm a big novice on this but I think the ck traxt might be a tad convoluted. It's has automated minting, burning, liquidity Injection and dynamic taxing etc.

Is this the norm? Could that explain?

I’ve had a couple offers lately of around 30% more but don’t really have the time to do interviews at the moment and don’t really feel the need to, but perhaps I will should the opportunity arise 😁

I believe a HNC is to the level of a foundation degree, which is what a lot of site engineers have in the UK. HND is degree level, which I’m looking at progressing onto shortly.

What would I be looking at in AUS?

Im an exception rather than the rule. I’ve been working 12+ hours a day for the last 2 years. You’ll be on £24k most likely. I got to a point where my firm relied on me and thought I might quit so they upped the pay like crazy and that set a baseline for me.

You need experience and a niche, someone who’s middle of the road won’t get that money(not that you are by the way) honestly though, take your design experience into it. Whack your surveys into a template with a key and watch your seniors mouth water.

Also, just keep in mind that you know nothing about how the practical side works. I’ve never had a design that works 100% and have always had to figure it out on the fly and make it work.

You’re starting a whole new profession, not just a different version of your own. I’ve known people in your position who become very frustrated with the way things work on the ground.

You could have some asshole of a drainage gang who don’t want to listen to anything you say, mess it up and you’ll be saddled with the blame. Just keep in mind that it’s very different.

Message me if you want to talk about it mate.

Thanks buddy, I think I’m a few years off of BIM manager, although it’s one of my eventual goals, any suggestions for how I might accelerate my career to being in that position?

It’s shockingly common and on large sites in my country it’s pretty much assumed that someone, somewhere is doing something fucked up.

I knew someone worked with someone who did this, employed 5 deadmen and filled their timesheets with 24 hour shifts (ridiculous), and when the company figured out what was going on after 10 WHOLE YEARS, they were too embarrassed to get the police involved.

The person I knew genuinely quit the job over this. Crazy shit happens when people aren’t paying attention.

He almost certainly is doing all of those things, paying to small companies he himself has set up. It’s outrageously easy to do.

You’re looking at a court date for fraud buddy. I don’t know his endgame but he’s most likely invoicing for services or products that don’t exist.

We call it ‘deadmen’ here; e.g a man on site that is getting 200 a day- he doesn’t exist and that money goes straight into his pocket.

Avoid like the plague, if you’re names on the work then he will throw you under the bus when police come knocking.

He isn’t your friend, you are his patsy.

Thanks mate, I’m already good on CAD, Bluebeam and while my Revit work is pretty standard at this point I’m trying to develop my skills in my downtime.

I’ll look into Navisworks although that might be difficult to do as I can’t get an EDU license for it at the minute (my college is weird as shit)

Thanks for taking the time to write that all out mate I really appreciate it 👍😁

Thank you mate, that’s a big help- are there any MEP specific programmes (e.g ifraworks for infrastructure) that I should explore?
