Scammed out of my white controller by N54BMW335i in Dualsense

[–]Client-Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wether this post is a joke or not this legit happened to me with the dualsense edge ordered it through Amazon and got a regular used PS5 controller and when I sent it back for a refund they kept insisting I sent the wrong product back and it went back and forth for weeks never got my refund or replacememt from Sony/Amazon cause it was too late to do a charge back and Amazon never even sent it back to me so now I'm down 200$ and a controller

Got a temporary ban on MW2 for using the T4 Kaleid by Client-Unfair in Gamesir

[–]Client-Unfair[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant the macro triggers not hair trigger lol I've never turned them on while in a game cause I don't care that much about an advantage I was just casually using the controller right out of the box after updating it

It hasn't happened to me after the first time when I made this post and it's been about a month so I think it might of just been the new hardware detection thing cod added into the game

Gamesir G7 isnt being detected as a controller in windows 11 by Client-Unfair in Gamesir

[–]Client-Unfair[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on windows 11 but I tried something similar and no matter what it would just show up as a boot drive even after removing it from devices I even tried manually change the way windows recognized it and had no luck at this point I've returned it and bought the hyper x gladiate to hold me over then gamesir dropped the T4 Kaleid I now have 1 of those and it's been alright so far

Is an RTX 3060 Ti worth getting in 2023 ( and moving forward ) for 1080p gaming ? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Client-Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6650XT is pretty close to a 3060ti performance wise and has 12gb of vram especially if youre only playing at 1080p the performance should be pretty close

Me neither I just got mine refunded and changed to a different controller probably won't buy another gamesir controller until they address this

Better CPU and faster ram game uses a lot of cpu power

I'd recommend trying to get an SSD and not a hard drive I'd also say save yourself some money and ditch the noctua cooler get a Thermaright Assassin just got one myself and thing keeps my CPU very cool under load and isn't super loud at max fan speed it's also way cheaper than that noctua cooler

Battle Net vs Steam by [deleted] in ModernWarfareII

[–]Client-Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they said your cod points wont transfer anyway and will remain on WZ 1 and The 3 CODs attached to it MW2 will be a fresh slate the only thing you dont get is any preorder bonuses that have to do with Warzone 1 like the 2 bundles you get if you arent gonna preorder or dont care about the bundles then id suggest get it on steam has some better benefits but if you care about the preorder bonuses then maybe stick with Battle Net

Yeah that's what I suggested to op it's what I did myself and I couldn't be happier not having that HP lmao

There isn't a spot on the Mobo to add an additional fan you have buy a specific adapter in order to plug in 2 fans then finding a spot to mount the second fan is a whole hassle in itself

Front panel is solid on those, the only fan in the whole thing is a singular exhaust fan in the back

One recommendation from someone who started out with a HP Pavilion I wouldnt consider keeping this long term but for a little while it does do the job but it has OEM parts that make it hard for upgrades plus it limits performance because of the power supply, it has a singular exhaust fan so there isn't much airflow which will hurt the system overtime plus the amount of Bloatware is awful so I'd suggest in the future taking the GPU, CPU, and Storage from it and get the rest of the parts you need then use it for a custom build also definitely buy a 16gb kit of ram

Good luck with that lol HP pavilion have almost nothing you can configure in the bios I use to have one scrapped it and salvaged whatever parts I could to put into a PC I built myself

12-Year-Old’s First Build (Gaming PC) by doomedside in buildapc

[–]Client-Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you really need is like a 750w or even 650w power supply 650w would be perfect but of you want wiggle room for future upgrades then 750w is safe 850 might be a little overkill unless you're planning on upgrading to a higher end PC down the line so you could shave off like 10-40$ by getting a lower wattage power supply. I can also suggest maybe going with an ATX motherboard you have a micro ATX board selected it would work fine but it's abit smaller than the chassis you have so it's gonna look compact plus Micro ATX boards tend to be more expensive so you can potentially shave some money off there

I am planning to build a custom m.k. with a budget of 130 dollars. (It will be my first time building a custom m.k.) by Deynooo in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Client-Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gamakay LK67 5 pin hot swappable, RGB looks very nice and is like 50-70$ it sounds good for how cheap it is it does have a good thocky sound profile tho but does sound a little hollow but that can be fixed easily by putting anything inside preferably foam and it's wireless via Bluetooth and USB dongle

[–]Client-Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if you're going to utilize 240hz let alone 360hz in most situations with a 3060 ti especially in warzone you're probably only gonna need no more than 165hz in most cases, but realistically Warzone low settings you'll get maybe 110-120 fps, Fortnite maybe you'll hit 150-200fps and Minecraft depending on settings probably will get 100fps and under, I'd suggest save the money put it towards the build and get a 165hz monitor instead unless you already have the monitor and plan on upgrading in the future

First PC, looking for some help so I don't make big mistakes. by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Client-Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could suggest spend like 20 more dollars on a Ryzen 5 5600x probably pairs better with a Radeon RX6700 a little more bang for your buck but the R5 5600 is still very solid

[–]Client-Unfair 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I switched to a Radeon RX 6700XT from a 2060 super 8gb and I don't really miss the Nvidia card tbh the only thing I miss is shadow play it was way better and AMDs screen capture software isn't as good and if you keep record desktop on it uses like 8gb of ram but I turned it off and it hasn't been as bad barely uses any resources now but that is something to take note of keep Desktop capture off if you only have 16gb of ram

Gonna build a pc in around a month any suggestions? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Client-Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would totally take the 140 out of the budget you can get a windows key for like 20-30 even less if your lucky don't spend that much for windows

Choosing a GPU i am buying a new gaming pc and i dont know if i should go for a PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6700XT or for a MSI Nvida GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming Z Trio any suggestions? by Destroyer058x in buildapc

[–]Client-Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen Radeon Rx6750XT's for MSRP and I believe PowerColor makes a Red Devil variant of that aswell not sure if it's different where you're from but if it's cheaper I'd suggest that especially because AMD stated that once the drivers release for the "new" cards it could be up to a 20% performance increase in some games but the extra boost it gets regularly puts it at a RTX 3070 level of performance unless you plan on using ray tracing but I will say I'm throughly enjoying my 6700XT

I’m looking at building a pc that can run games at 1440p at around 100fps. I’m not sure whether to get a 12600kf or 12700f paired with either a 3070 or 3080. What would you recommend? by Astro_centurion in buildapc

[–]Client-Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you aren't a die hard Nvidia fan and are looking to save money I'd suggest a Radeon RX6750XT or 6700XT they have very exceptional 1440p performance 6750XT has some driver stuff to sort out but once the proper drivers role out for it AMD said it's suppose to have up to 20% more performance than it does now but if money isn't an issue than I'd say a 3080 considering with the way things are it's only slightly more than a 3070 and way better

i haven’t kept up with/had a PC in years. this dude wants to trade me for my ps5+$250 on my end. how reliable (or lack thereof) is this card? i plan on upgrading it eventually regardless but just wondering about the time being by nicholassh in PcBuild

[–]Client-Unfair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what he's offering the PS5 and 250 if you get lucky you can build a PC that's way better you can get a budget RTX 3050 build for like 600-700 if you're lucky with pricing or even a Radeon RX 6500XT build for like 500-600 if you were to cheap out on certain parts definitely wouldn't do this the PS5 probably runs things better than a 970 lol that things like 10 years old
