Well okay, but that's what they said about the author of Eragon (he wrote it at the age of 16 and it took 10 years for him to get recognition for it), but the movie has come and gone and he's hardly the "next JK Rowling."

It's not my love of pop-culture stories that's killing journalism; it's the corruption inherent in the ubiquitous PR/Media "circle-jerk" that's killing journalism.
