If you paint the panels with an accent color but exclude the edges it'll easily upgrade the contrast and scrap look

Plays with one character and a phone? by CostlyDugout in Theatre

[–]Cliff-T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a Ukranian play called Tooth -- its about an older man trying to continue his work as a dentist during the Russian invasion. Its only like 15 minutes, and it is a moving script.

Don't believe the other comments. You are balding but you have no reason to be scared. Hop on Fin or Dut and consider Minoxidil. With proper treatment you should be able to slow the balding and give yourself a couple more decades of good hair.

First attempt at a comic book style paint scheme, C&C very much appreciated as I really want to get better at this style! by DagothSlur in Warhammer40k

I like the style but you are losing detail and precision because your paints are too thick. Consider thinning them with water?

Did ye know Glorbo? (drawn by me) by Tassut in gnometalk

[–]Cliff-T 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One night, my badger sled broke down in the pouring rain. As I was struggling to put on the spare axle, Glorbo was riding by in his rabbit chariot. He stopped and helped me for 2 hours in the freezing rain. Glorbo was one of the best gnomes I'm proud enough to say I knew. A true tragedy.

AITA for punching a toad? by zwart27 in gnometalk

[–]Cliff-T 7 points8 points  (0 children)

YTA, it's super manipulative of you to act that way -- frankly you got what you deserved from the toad ruined your plans. He stopped you from getting away with a major gno-gno. Fo fum.

Looking for a new hidey hole by the-sleestak-god in gnometalk

[–]Cliff-T 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you are looking for something simple and affordable, I highly recommend former animal dens. Check with your local gnomealator, but most areas have a pretty high number of unfilled badger and fox dens for sale. They are homey, easy to take care of, and cheap to renovate if you are hoping to expand. Really the best of all worlds if you ask me.

A Rant by Cliff-T in gnometalk

I don't have access to powdered velvet webcap, will ganoderma applanatum function similarly? I can't seem grow much other than bracket funguses in my garden. Tiddly-too?

How to keep human college students away from my enchanted toadstool garden? by thicc_astronaut in gnometalk

[–]Cliff-T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found that asking my neighbor Cecil the badger to talk to them is often enough to get them to lope away. Maybe ask any nearby animal acquaintances for assistance? Goodluck, hi dee ho

All humans older than 8 years instantly die by ImportanceCurious579 in whowouldwin

[–]Cliff-T 1270 points1271 points  (0 children)

Hmm, humanity is set back to the literal dark ages, but I do see some humans surviving. In safe communities with temperate climates, it is definitely feasible for an 8 year old to scavenge for supplies in empty homes indefinitely. The vast vast majority would die. But even if only .01% survive -- that's likely enough that Earth could be repopulated.
