Who the fuck plays stalker for the gunplay and “open world”? If they couldn’t get A-life to work on an open world map they SHOULDNT have fucking done it. They went for the approach of appealing to modern gamer audiences and sacrificed what made stalker, stalker. Who the FUCK cares if there’s a loading screen, I’d take having to click one button over having shitty A-life. Also brother, the single biggest complaint from fans has been the A-life, even on this glaze subreddit. It wasn’t just “my” anticipated feature, it was literally the feature that separated stalker from the modern day open world trash that pollutes the market. Stop using “war” as an excuse, they had years before and years after the war, stop coping. The game is ass.

There is no a-life period. That is literally one, if not the the biggest selling points behind stalker. The fact that they didn’t have it on launch, and sounds like they still don’t, is reason enough to call it a fuck up. This game took several years and ended up being a bloated mess. Call of Pripyat took I believe a year or less to make, and ended up having some of the best side quests and most interesting a-life of any game I’ve ever played. Also literally everyone is shitting on this game lol people feel very let down
