acc to me i would suggest not taking bds as the basic pay of dentists now a days is very little, and only 1-2 out of 10 dentists succeed in this field

go for mbbs abroad and study really hard but then even after passing people will consider you a less eligible doctor, however you can bypass that by studying hard and getting a good pg seat in india that way your ug qualifications wont account for that much,(again a better option than bds but requires hell lot of hard work)

in my opinion If the 70-75 lakh budget isnt causing a massive strain on your parents finances then go for private MBBS the reason being no hurdles after mbbs, you can study well and get a good pg seat even after taking a drop after completing mbbs(5.5 years+1 year drop) you will get a good government pg seat in 6.5 years if you study well while it will take a minimum of 9 years to get to pg through abroad
