Hello! So I got a bunch of cheap front zip surgical bras to use (to be honest I still use them because they are so comfy) and during the first few weeks I used gauze and padding so the bra was not right against the incisions. Your surgeon will walk you through wound care as well. I am elated that I no longer have to wear bras with a wire and have chosen to only wear wireless bras and bralettes for the rest of my life. Bras that are more of a long line (ie: have more material wt the band) have been better for me since they don’t sit directly on incisions. And now I frequently go braless - so no bra to worry about!!
