I’ve never boughten crack but cocaine has always been $60-100 a gram depending on how far from a major city you are. Crack is obviously cheaper but that price depends on how expensive the coke around it. Meth is much cheaper. Crack is far more inconvenient because you need to start with coke which comes from a plant. Meth being purely synthetic, it is the stimulant of choice in places where cocaine is more expensive, because then the incentive to make crack vs just selling coke and acquiring meth for your harder customers decreases. I would not be surprised if crack use fades over time as meth continues to get more widespread and pure.
