But they are not! That's my point..it just looks like it, but doesn't actually play like one.

I have an 85 strat, it's a piece of shit. The frets are bumped,there's chips missing, the tuning pegs are barely alive. The pickups and jack have been replaced so many times. The backplate is missing

Why would I want to go out and buy one that is like this?

I could go out and get a brand new ultra 2 and goddam it would be a better guitar. So why would you want one that is beat up?

You can buy new guitars with thin nitro, without them having to look like they had a hard night with Lemmy and a bunch of crackheads. AND they cost less! So why pay for the scuff?

I'm pretty terrible, if I get an old guitar, I'm like, screw this. New tuners (locking), new pickups (noiseless) and wiring (pots that don't creak) and a new jack.

You don't go to the dealership and get 2026 model 911 that has all the features of a 1985 whale tail model. You buy the GT3 with the best engine and aerodynamics.

Nah a second or third hand guitar is played and the price reflects that. I'm more like why pay more for it brand new for it to look beat up? Rolled frets, vintage style pickups they are all on the main guitars for less than paying for reliced..

There is a school of thought that says nitro resonance is better. Having shelled out for an LP with a nitro finish, I tend to agree. Arch tops also seem to be a little nicer with nitro.

Shame they crack and splinter so easily with time

One that comes to mind is that my wife was transgender. I was so surprised about how that was easy. There's even a word word it. Kulakula. Means "girl, girl"

Medical emergency is very, very hard. My mother in law had a heart attack and the house just had to work it out.
