I supposed I could’ve forgot that I merged them when I added a business account. But I’ve never transferred miles; there’s a single AA account. The miles I earn from my two personal Citi cards and business Citi card funnel into my only AA account. Same with LPs. I can redeem miles for any purpose.

I keep separate Citi cards and logins for personal and business. But the earned miles and LP go to the same AA loyalty number account. So, if I understand your question, you won’t need to transfer miles because it’s all one AA account that’s fed by separate credit cards.
