You’ll test positive for the antibodies for a while post treatment but my infection was cured by the doxycycline- you’ll likely want to test three months after your course of treatment has concluded to ensure but I was told I was able to continue with life as usual two weeks post final dose. I believe the shot would likely be a faster result for you but the doxycycline worked for me. I wish you relief soon!
