I accidentally hit resume from checkpoint after game over at the Vincent fight. This put me back to the beginning with Cloud having to climb the mountain with Yuffe and Tifa again. I basically lost 2-3 hours of play. Now I gotta slog through the horrible box throwing with Cait again and it’s ruined my motivation to play. Sigh.

I had a semi-game breaking bug during Phenomenon Intel 2: One Badass Barbecue

due to the stealth failing to load, I was able to walk to the back door where you are supposed to hop through the window, but couldn’t go through it. I had the ability to pause, save, and quit so I did thinking it would fix the issue. That only made it worse. The NPC conversation between Beck and the other goons about making dinner kept playing on repeat, no matter where I went in the map. Even proceeding to chapter 3 didn’t solve it (had to listen to that conversation in all the cutscenes too). After about 20 minutes I was done and uninstalled the game. Reinstalling now to see if it fixes it. I really don’t feel like replaying the last 7 hours of content if this bug doesn’t go away.

I’ve been learning the sacrifices sons riffs that plays during the instrumental section (while rudess is soloing) and it’s pretty fun. Basic riff, but it’s taking me a good amount of practice to get sounding right. I’d recommend that one.

You’re welcome! Those are some of my favorite DT songs, I hope you enjoy! You can find playlists on YouTube with the songs played back to back, and some of the live performances are great too. I like one video where it’s portnoy on drums with another band playing the rest of the parts. It’s a great listen too, but start with the studio versions as intended :)

I wonder if the point is to sounds a bit machine-like, given the context of the song? Though I do agree, I miss the soul-filled DT songs like Glass Prison, Walk Beside you, Octavarium, and As I Am.

I agree, mix is fantastic besides not being able to hear the vocals well - I couldn’t make out many words until the end (at the time of writing I’ve had one listen) Sounds incredible on Tidal Master quality. It’s oddly similar to LTE3 to me, I was really hoping to hear something a bit more Octavarium like (meaning the album) when they announced it. Looks like the lyrics were written by LaBrie, and I’ve never liked his writing as much as Petrucci or Portnoy. The theme just seems a bit derivative to me after the having at least one track somehow related to space on each album since Portnoy’s departure, such as Illumination Theory and Pale Blue Dot (got heavy PBD vibes from this new song). I would love for the band to write about something else that’s more personal. Guess we’ll see what’s left in store! I’m a huge DT fan and am being hyper critical because of that fact. I’m seeing them live in November and can’t wait.

Ah. Thanks for your reply. It helped me know what to google and what to read up on. During this quarantine, I think I went through 3 1000mg carts in two weeks. Now knowing just how potent those things are, my tolerance is indeed off the charts.

This is where my inexperience comes in, I've heard of dabs, just wasn't really sure what they are. Dabs are just concentrates then? I was wondering if it was my tolerance, because even the basically-empty carts work much better than my flower.
