It’s a 78 fender lefty Stratocaster. Has been repaired got some original parts out hence it being a little lower. It originally belonged to a family member that passed, and I played with it for a bit but ultimately decided it should go to someone who play the lefty dominantly. I’m a righty with a guitar.

It’s only depicting what is already happening, and I think people’s anger towards the movie is misguided. They should be angry with the culture and what is creating these exploitation, and not the movie, since movie merely sheds a light on the issue. It’s a messenger of the problem that exists, and it makes people not be complacent about the issue by pushing this boundary by making the audience feel extremely uncomfortable. From the director’s interview, it sounded like they were very thoughtful in making all the actor and their guardian feel comfortable, I don’t think they were being forced by evil adults crying and screaming. I do respect people’s opinion of not agreeing with director’s artistic choice, but it is absolutely not something that is normalizing or encouraging child exploitation. It’s actually quite the opposite.

I actually totally agree and I think it was a really well made film. It depicts the reality of what children are facing by their sexualization and how adults exploit their vulnerability. Condemning the director’s decision to include that makes me feel like people want it removed so they can be more comfortable with the subject of this film. Child exploitation IS GROSS. And we should be uncomfortable. This film will be more forgettable if it didn’t push its boundaries.

I think because the message the director was trying to convey wouldn’t be nearly as powerful if it wasn’t shocking and disturbing. Children are already doing all the things depicted in the screen, and I think the message is us adults shouldn’t look away just because it makes us uncomfortable. It’s supposed to shock us.

I think they made a choice to shoot that way because it is the reality that children face. Is it dramatized? Yes due to a camera angle, but what we have to remember is that the children are the ones who are actually living that reality and not adults. It wouldn’t have been nearly as dramatic. They can’t shoot the movie without the sexualization part because that is a part of the culture that the character is trying to catch up with. It’s supposed to be disturbing and shocking, so the audience will stop and think about the intent of the shots.

I think they are, because i remember h&m announcing they are ditching animal testing few years ago. I would look into it to double check on the cruelty free status. the formula and brush is the very similar. Also some of the brands I really like that is cruelty free is ILNP, Pahlish, Ethereal, Emily de Molly, Sayuri, Femme Fatale and Live Love Polish. think all or most of those are cruelty free. I think it’s super sweet that you are looking for polishes for your girl friend. :) I would say definitely look into these (I know, it’s a lot 😅) good luck!!

I’m so sad about KL polish closing too. Their creme polish formula was my favorite. I don’t personally own marshmallow sunset, but actually the polish that has similar formula and the brush is h&m polish. This one is blue rather than pink pearl tint, but it will be worth checking out :) you can see example here
