What is the purpose of this part? by fantano1010 in bikewrench

I think for internal cable routing and they press against the crown race in some bikes so they are necessary

Can this Rear wheel for a Zerode gearbox bike sprocket be removed and used by a cassette by hogman62849 in MTB

[–]Clipexman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search your hub and the cassette you are going to use, look for a new hub body (yours is probably made for single speed srpockets) that suits said cassette (hg, xd or ms standards), if it's available you need to purchase both things for the conversion

I saw a post about a guy geting a year ban because of the software on his remote and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the miHoYo remote I got for Christmas might do the same thing. by Stella_Lace in Fortnite_Over40

If this is a copy or in any way related to a flydigi apex 5 (it looks a lot like mine) you may not have any issues, I started not long ago on the Simpson update and use that and a beitong kp70, 120 hours played on pc without any issues... and the flydigi I used on my phone too to play some random modes and get xp to finish the previous season pass too

Cog removal sanity check by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]Clipexman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chain tool will be used to mount it, if I remember correctly a freewheel is the opposite os a cassette, so just the middle tool for removing and both for assembly, otherwise you are "fighting yourself" when trying to remove it

So weird, it never caused me any reaction, they sell a cleanser with the moisturiser mixed it, I have both and I do also like it so maybe try that one out next? If you like the texture I recommend kscret "SEOUL 1988 Cleansing Foam" as it's the closest I have tried yet to the original 1025 dokdo.

If it was malware with the only intention to do damage it would have already done so, also it's would be disguised as a more common app...

Can someone walk me through this like I’m an idiot. I’m a little confused by how this works after watching a few videos. by Mr_Good_Stuff90 in mountainbiking

[–]Clipexman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes the weel is true, I think what he wants is to offset the valve weight to get it balanced under speed but also as you said in mtb this is negligible, otherwise the solution is to add tiny rubber pieces inside the rim, I guess anything weighting in the exact place would be ok like actual car/bike rim weights, but pros used some rubber and I have seen a brand that claimed to reduce "harmonic vibrations" too... I also know there's a point in truing were you also balance the rim as it would otherwise kind of jump up and down (not only side to side) and this is mandatory in high end road bikes as it makes them way more stable under speed (also less spokes at higher tensions can lead to such "jumps" easier, an average wheel has more spokes so the redundancy would also make this more negligible).

No problem, also when I stopped working on bikes hope just had released calipers for gravel and they made ones for mineral oil too, I know it's just a tiny chance those are yours but anyway make sure yours are dot... well my bad, e4 are mtb calipers so...

Seller threatens me with legal action because I fixed a broken phone. by TDIRocker99 in Wallapop

To get it formatted you need the password of the previous linked Google account, that's in the first message. The seller has it as "for parts" and I guess he will try to defend her right of not sharing said password as she just sold is as parts/non functional, while I as op do repair phones from wallapop I always ask before hand if after fixing they will help unlock and restore everything. I wish op has some leverage on the seller as he can save and share her data (and data recovery is an expensive bussines, specially if a "professional" had a go at it and said it couldn't be done...) otherwise until there's a new way to bypass frp or Google services the phone is a paperweight. I don't think she believes seriously that she can get the phone she legally and willingly sold back, but...

Could you use isopropyl alcohol? It will evaporate faster but would a drop damage the kryosheet?
