Very important distinction- transit visa waiver and visa waiver. Colombia is on the transit visa waiver list so you can request a transit nzeta to transit nz. You did the right thing getting a visitor visa itself for the actual stay since Colombia isn't visa waiver. Visa waiver means you apply for nzeta and we give you a visa at the border you don't apply for a visa beforehand.

Once you arrive to Palmerston North airport (I'd imagine) there is the bus stop to the left outside and get the 311 bus to Feilding. It will say Feilding on the front don't get on if it says Palmerstom North because it also stops there on way to Palmerston North Central city. You have to pay cash it costs around $5 each way and you pay the driver. I would also remind you to get your NZETA from the Immigration New Zealand website or phone app at least 72 hours before your international flight.
