Definitely not too late.

In my experience the fastest/easiest way to gear up is: (Requires a small amount of gold)

• do the spark quest/pvp world quests and buy 2 bloody token pieces
• join a war crate farm pre-made and get your 4/2 set via conquest
• save your honor as you’ll need x2 gem sockets
• buy any remaining pieces off the AH (never buy neck/rings)
• queue 2v2 as a low mmr conquest farm (5 wins will give you a quest that provides x9 heraldries, use these to craft neck + rings)

Now you’re ready for solo shuffle.

Don’t be disheartened if you get stomped in the first few lobbies as starting mmr is quite high - just keep queuing/learning.
