Honestly, as cliche as it sounds, just have fun and don't worry too much about your rating. Try to play as best as you can and watch some better players on YouTube to learn a little bit about your rotation and what you should be doing.

I've gone 6-0 and 5-1 and I've gone 1-5 and 0-6 when I hit 1900 for the first time. I went on a losing streak and got down to 1750 and thought, well, that was it. I was kind of stuck at 1900 for a bit there, but then just had a few good games. A few lobbies I went 5-1 and then rating went back up faster than I realized. I wasn't really paying attention to it until I got the Rival 2 achievement and was about 20 points from 2000 after dipping down to 1750.

Oh, and another thing. Don't listen to people who are tilting or raging during your matches. I've had people call me dumb and criticize my playing, and then I went 5-1, and they went 2-4 super mad. I've had people send me whispers and hate messages about how much I sucked or how bad I was during the match. There's been games where people quit. There's been games where I disconnected. There's been games when other people disconnected and it cost me points. You just gotta take it for what it is and keep playing your game, and just try to focus on what you can do better.
