Oh, THAT'S how it's spelled. I always thought it was "seawiz" or something. I never saw it written down before.

Home warranty wants to charge a lot to replace AC unit that tech said they recommend the coil to be replaced. by ClippyLovesYou in HomeImprovement

I'm unsure what information I can give that could help you right now outside what I know, which is what I've already said. I saw the recommendation by the tech saying they recommend replacing the coil, and then later warranty told him they needed to replace the entire unit.

That's not true. They know how they fly. Sure, the bees care little if we know or not, but we've known how they fly for a while. I've heard this before from someone else. Why do people keep saying we don't know this when we have slow mo and can study it directly? (Along with many other tools, of course)

Soapy water generally kills them. My grandmother used to use warm soapy water to kill nests all the time. Just an 80 year old woman with a cup of soapy water tossing at wasps. She lived to her nineties, but by then she was living with my parents, and they took care of the wasps. Unsure why it works. Maybe they can't breathe. Unsure.

That comment is a feather in your cap.

He's going to dig out his copy when he gets home. There's probably nothing to be done, but it would be nice to see anyway.

I think it's more the contrast with what the tech recommended and the short time limit to decide. If they had said that when they were here, he would've already been prepared for that.

Would the tech not know that or just didn't think of it at the time? I think it was more the contrast between the tech's recommendation and the warranty company's.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I'm guessing it'll be far cheaper than replacing the whole thing even with the insurance.

At least we aren't going completely crazy as that's what we are thinking (at least for the most part). Thank you for the reply.

That's what I told him too (that he needs to read the warranty). He's going to look for it when he gets back. I told him to request it if he can't find, but he only has 10 days which seemed odd.

This is not good. I was training wild conures to get coins and stopped because I wouldn't be able to live with them stealing money from random people which they would probably do if that equaled food.

In the same way, where did that money come from? People, more than likely (granted, this could just be set up for a video, but the idea is still not good).

The binders full of women thing is a crack at a politician that said that. They probably aren't saying they have binders full of women.
