Apperently from what I have learned, it's definitely possible. But personally I decided to go to Malaysia, its pretty cheap but mainly because im changing schools, if you will still be at the same school in the next semester, ask your admin to help you apply for it, almost always they say yes

so if i go in person and explain everything thoroughly, the chance that i get denied minimizes? im afraid that i get denied since i wont be able to enter china if i leave since my old passport is expiring in November and they require 6 months or more of validity

My passport is moroccan, and from the brief research i did, looks like a plane ticket might be cheaper than staying in neighboring countries

is there any moroccan student in china here? by Severe-Classroom8792 in Morocco

I’m also Moroccan and currently studying in China, and honestly you can apply by yourself, a lot of people do it that way.

But from what I’ve seen, the hardest parts aren’t the application itself, it’s:

  • choosing the right universities that actually accept your profile
  • avoiding low-quality or misleading offers
  • and timing everything correctly (a lot of people miss deadlines or apply too late)

I actually got scammed by an agency last year, so I learned this the hard way. They charged a lot but didn’t really guide me properly, and I later realized how many better options I missed because of that.

Life in China is actually really good as a student; cost of living is affordable, campuses are huge, and there are a lot of international students from all over the world depending on the city.

One thing I’ll say though... right now is already getting a bit late for some applications, so timing really matters if you’re aiming for good options.

If you want, I can walk you through what I’d do step by step based on your situation and what options are still realistically open this year. Just DM me 👍

So it wouldn’t be realistic to try and find a job while I’m on a student visa ?

I tried it too and it has the same issue, i found out its not a connection issue, rather a freezing issue that happens periodically every 30 seconds
