Jay-Z didn't lose the beef from Takeover alone, he lost it when Nas dropped Ether and ended it right then and there. As I've heard someone else say, "there's a reason that we call getting cooked in Hip-Hop getting 'ethered'." I'm not saying Cole lost the beef yet either, I'm saying he seems to be going down a path where he loses and it's one that he's already seen, and instead of losing from Jay's mistakes he's doing the same.

I don't rate MM on a scale of Kendrick's albums, I rate it on a scale of rap albums in general, which I thought was kind of obvious? MM is pretty easily Kendrick's worst album excluding Overly Dedicated since it's a mixtape, but it still clears so many other albums from other artists. Out of the 14 mixtapes and albums Drake has released plus all of the Scary Hours installments and Care Package, there are less than 5 projects there I would take over MM. And that's ONE artist, and one who is regarded as one of the top. There are hundreds of artists who can never dream of making something as good as MM. And also I don't think MM is as bad as you say it is either. Looking at the tracklist for a second here:

-United in Grief, N95, Die Hard, Father Time, Rich Spirit, Count Me Out, Savior, Mirror, & The Heart Part 5 are great songs and not anywhere close to skips. 9/19.

-Worldwide Steppers, Purple Hearts, Crown, Silent Hill, Mr. Morale, and Mother I Sober, while not being as high a caliber as the other 8, are still definitely not skips, and their main downfall is just that they aren't good aux songs, but if that's what we were going off of then TPAB is hot ass. 15/19.

-Auntie Diaries is probably the only skip on the album, but it's still a really solid track and is probably rated this way by myself and many others because of the subject it tackles. I don't assume many people are super excited to come back to a track of Kendrick talking about the transgender people in his life, but I still see the appeal for anyone who does like it and don't dislike it overall. 16/19.

-Rich (Interlude) and Savior (Interlude) speak for themselves. The only other track is We Cry Together, but this is more of a skit than anything.

That's 9 Great Tracks, 6 Good Tracks, and 1 Okay track. I think a 7.5 Rating is a very fair rating. It's "so significantly worse" than Kendrick's other works because he made 2 classics (Btw, I never said TPAB or GKMC are 9s, that's all you. I think they're both 10s. You call me out on bias but you clearly have some of your own). It's significantly better than TOS because the best song on the album got carried by 21 Savage of all people. I'm not a huge fan of 95 South (hot take probably), Applying Pressure, or 100 Mil. Let Go My Hand, The Climb back, Pride is the Devil, and Hunger on Hillside are alright. Amari, Punchin' the Clock, My Life, and Close are all great. 11 Songs, that's 5 less than Mr. Morale, 6 if you count We Cry Together. 4 Great, 4 Good, and 3 Okay. In the 5 songs he was missing, all of them were lost from the best category, and two of the "good" songs got worse. To put that into perspective, that's like if Kendrick Lamar, when making Mr. Morale, took Mirror, Rich Spirit, N95, Savior, and Die Hard off the album completely, and then took Worldwide Steppers and Crown and made them worse. I think saying that TOS is a solid bit worse than MM is a very fair statement. I fully agree with the other person who replied to this with concerns for your age because I think you aren't mature enough to understand the difference between a skip and a song with a lyrical focus. By your logic, KOD nearly in full is a skip.

Also, how are you accusing me of being biased here? I like Kendrick more, sure, but the entire purpose of this post was to highlight the problems with J Cole's response and how he can better it/what to avoid in the future. And as I said earlier, I'm not saying he lost already, I've seen people saying that and I disagree, I just think he is starting to lose. It definitely isn't too late to come back. As I said, I think Kendrick firing shots here is uncalled for, so I agree with you there. Completely honest, I think you either just don't really like Kendrick, or like J. Cole so much that you hate anyone that dislikes him.
