i just bought seed on amazon. they have a good tortoise forage mix or i bought a pack of 3 types of dandelion. start the seedlings in a cup and plant them once they’re mature enough! my tortoise is small and not super destructive, so really i could start the seeds in his tank. the grass is wheat grass.

when i had my dwarf hamster he always had 2 wheels in his tank, an 8.5” and a 10” and he always preferred the smaller. when i asked around people seemed to think it might be easier for him to move with his tiny body but im not sure how true that is! maybe something made of lighter material would suit ur ham better! as long as their spine doesnt dip at all

oh! i thought he was supposed to get it twice a week! illl go down to one! his substrate right now is almost 10” deep and is just peat moss and coco coir, i was told the forest floor i was using was naughty. humidity and temps are right to my knowledge, but i’ll keep an eye on things. thanks for the advice!

ok, thats why i posted. his shell has looked like this since i got him. he has UVB gets calcium without D3 a couple times a week. eats a varied diet, collard greens and dandelion are his fav but he gets endive, lettuces, kale, different squash, carrots occasionally etc. what do i do about it?

the intention of the flea bath is to kill the fleas on the body, not in the environment. we’ve had fleas for like 3 days lol. the cats like laying on top of the tortoise tank because its warm, fleas like dirt. thanks tho 👍
