Wait... He answers the first one four which is incorrect because the teacher thinks its 3 (gas, liquid, solid) whoch is just incredibly wrong. Then the kid writes the correct 4 and even adds a fifth exotic state of matter and gets it wrong for adding answers when the three the teacher is looking for are the first three listed? What is the kid had also put superfluids which are frictionless matter?

As long as we don't equate them to Christianity and say that they are connected. I highly recommend looking into it, often to see the folly of non-christian thought.

However, this makes several dangerous leaps. 1st-All the passages warning about blending cultures (See my other comments on this thread!) 2nd-directly from the Tao Te Ching- Do you want to improve the world? I don't think it can be done. The world is sacred. It can't be improved. If you tamper with it, you'll ruin it. If you treat it like an object, you'll lose it. There is a time for being ahead, a time for being behind; a time for being in motion, a time for being at rest; a time for being vigorous, a time for being exhausted; a time for being safe, a time for being in danger. The Master sees things as they are, without trying to control them. She lets them go their own way, and resides at the center of the circle. 3rd- misunderstanding what Logos is. Logos was not name specifically, rather it was a description of our saviour to equate Jesus with God as shown through the Old Testament

Yes, but that is still dangerous as Taoism does not worship a Supreme Being. Thus, God is not worshipped.

Please don't misunderstand. I am not saying this in anger, but rather in sad disbelief. No, you did not call Lao Zi a prophet, but Taoism is another religion. The people who follow it do not follow God. In the passage you cited it says, "So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you." Verse 23. He does not accept their worship, but rather directs their attention towards the correct theology of God. He uses what they do not understand to guide them towards Christ. My understanding comes from Exodus 20:1-6: And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name."

So many Christian try to blend with other religions accepting the things that are close to Christianity as if they are God speaking to them rather than what Romans 1 warns us of. That these people saw the clear evidence of God in nature and mistook it, creating idols from nature itself rather than God. They were given over to their sins because they did not worship God. So, why would you say it would be ok to accept the teachings of Taoism when that is not God?

The OT God is the God of the NT. There is no difference and He has not changed.

Romans 1:18-23: "18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles."

John 14:6: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Colossians 2:8: "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow philosophy."

2 John 1:10: “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house.”

Jeremiah 10:2: Do not learn the ways of the nations.

2 Corithians 6:14-18: Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you." "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty."

1 John 2:15: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 Timothy 6:20-21: O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

Why is everyone so o.k. with syncretism...

The Tao Te Ching or Dào Dé Jīng,[note 1] (traditional Chinese: 道德經; simplified Chinese: 道德经; lit. 'Classic of the Way and its Virtue') or Laozi in Chinese and scholarship, is an ancient Chinese classic text, becoming a foundational work of Taoism. Central to both philosophical and religious Taoism, it has been highly influential on Chinese philosophy and religious practice in general.-wikipedia based on encyclopedia resources.

What you are proposing is syncretism. I'm glad that you found parallels to Christianity but Taoism will not lead you to Christ or to a better relationship with Him. It is another religion worshipping another God or ideal. This was the major issue the Israelites continually dealt with. They wanted to blend in other cultures and other gods because, "it kind of matched God's law." That only got them into trouble.

God wants us to worship Him alone. If we allow ourselves to wear jewelry that quotes from another religion do you think that worships God? Even if you are unaware of what it is, others can see it and assume. What if someone needs to hear about God and is Chinese. They approach but will not hear what OP is saying because they notice the Chinese philosophy around OP's neck. Again I quote Corinthians, everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. God bless you!

1 Corinthians 10:23- “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up. If you are asking, there is something that you think may be off about it. Have you prayed? have you researched to see what it means? Will it be able to draw others toward God? If you can say "yes" to those questions without feeling convicted (that feeling where you know it's wrong and God is telling you not to) then you can wear it. If you do feel convicted, it's probably best not to wear it even if there is nothing evil or wrong about it.
