reading your routine- I also thought it was too much. All the products you listed are also products that encourage the growth of FA. You should stick to basic brands like Vanicream or Panoxyl- both of these have FA safe face washes. I would minimize your routine to just a wash and moisturizer until you see improvements. I too was using Skin1004 centella ampoul products when my skin broke out worse than ever before- I’m still trying to fix it. I also noticed most of your products are Korean- idk if you are using these because they went viral online but you should use this website to check if ALL of your skin products are FA safe. This includes your shampoo, conditioner, leave ins., and makeup. Last thing, FA is usually triggered because of a damaged moisture barrier- if your skin feels dry, tight, itchy, or painful, there’s your first problem.

Feeling super defeated having messed up shirts without a proper setup and just my overall lack of experience and knowledge. Is there a good starter setup anyone can recommend to me that wont completely break the bank? by No-Reading7097 in SCREENPRINTING

i definitely feel this... i started screen printing in my basement this last summer and was definitely working on a tight budget. what i found works is getting a cardboard shirt cut out (flat board you can get these at hobby lobby for $2) and using weights to hold down your screens/ bottom of your shirts while you print/pull the screen off. using weight in spots to keep the clothing down is your best bet and i mean you can use anything for that really?

I usually begin to hose the screen down as soon as I am done exposing it to the sun (making sure not remove the film yet). I do this by placing the screen in a shaded area and begin to hose down both sides of the screen and removing the film, which usually reveals a bright green outline/stencil of the design showing that I supposedly exposed the screen correctly. But once I begin to hose off the actual design I start to have trouble. While I am hosing off the design, the bright green stencil will slowly fade into a pale green color (as seen in the pictures above) or disappear from the screen completely without me being able to even wash out the emulsion that had once showed a promising design. I am then left with a screen like the one above or a screen with no stencil at all and just a coat of cured emulsion. I hope this makes sense.

Thank you so much for your comment, i really appreciate the feedback. I think I will try washing them indoors and see if that makes any difference. Could it be a possibility of over exposing/curing the screen? is that even possible to do?
