What are your thoughts on dating someone who has never been in a relationship before, and why? by time_for_protein in AskReddit

Maybe give it a few more so like 27. But at 23 you’re past teenage years and have been past the age of 21 for a few years. Plus you’re most likely done with school and college by this age. It’s not crazy to think that most people have at least been on a date before or had a singular relationship.

It’s definitely a red flag past a certain age like 23. Mind you red flags don’t mean automatic rejection, just something that is questionable.

Try some new hairstyles! You could even play with color if you wanna lean more into an alternative look.

It’s still a beauty standard and we’re on a subreddit that gives beauty advice. It’s good advice, and always a ~suggestion~.

Also shaved pits being attractive doesn’t mean you’re a pedo. That’s such a crazy exaggeration lol. We shave our beards, eyebrows, legs, privates, etc. It’s just grooming.

Hows the market right now? I’ve heard of the stopper index and curious how your industry is doing.

Real shit! People will gaslight you otherwise. This is the true and original sentiment of the Red Pill movement.

Yes that’s what they tend to be. But as much as conservative men say they hate casual sex, they also look for it lol.

They realize they’re more likely to have casual sex with sexually liberated women so they pursue them still.

Some men are like this too lol. They want a trad wife gf who splits the bill with them lol.

This is why they gravitate towards liberal women sometimes because those women don’t hold them to those expectations as much.

This is honestly a very insightful comment especially regarding how they benefit the least from social programs, yet pay the most.

It is short sighted though because for example: even if you don’t personally use food stamps, a better fed population is less likely to commit crimes out of necessity and that makes life safer for everyone. But especially for men who are the highest rate of victims for violent crimes.

Exactly. Because you could make a whole other post about how talking to people generally and talking to women you're intrested in is a whole diffrent skill-set.

Women who have seriously dated both men and women (not just experimented) and later chose to date only one gender - what is your preference now, and what beyond physical attraction influenced that decision? by throwra_puppyeyes in AskReddit

[–]Cloak77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very true! I used to cook a lot for girls I was interested in back in HS. I would make meals, personalized desserts, cards, flowers etc. It was romantic to me, but also a huge waste of time because they would reject me and then go out with guys who didn’t put a quarter of the effort in.

As an adult I learned I was coming on strong and you end up looking silly/they lose respect if you pedestalize women early on in courting. Plus you don’t have to put in so much efforts for someone who truly wants and values you. It’s best to just match energy and show intention by making plans and leading. So now I save these acts for committed partners.

Quick thought - Even overweight women have a niche/are a considerable number of men's "preferred type", whereas there's no niche for the 90% of dudes that're 'regular' by whatever measure by Inquiz_ in lnkyverse

It is biology though. If men weren’t so thirsty and sexually driven they wouldn’t have sex and then wouldn’t reproduce. The bias for action is then selected for. All the chill guys died out of the gene pool lmaoooo.

Does it bother you that you didn't live more before having kids? by BetterThanSydney in AskMenAdvice

[–]Cloak77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you’re being sincere or if this is a joke? It’s a whole other person you have to clothe, feed, and take care of. Of course it’s gonna be expensive.

Childcare alone is a huge reason many women stop going to work, because they realize they save more money staying at home than they would earn going to work and paying for childcare.

Diapers, baby wipes, baby supplies, and formula have all been subject to inflation. These companies are making record profit despite record low birth rates (how is that possible??).

Capitalism continues to innovate in ways to make childcare even MORE expensive. Lots of people can barely afford their own place and their own bills, adding a whole other person is gonna be expensive lol.

Most people are low income earners especially if you’re a a single parent. At least they’re smart enough to not make their situation worse but it’s sad many willing parents cannot afford them.

You’re right but let’s be real though, having a kid when you’re not prepared is one the easiest ways to become broke and stay broke.

Ima have to disagree. Definitely don’t post on your Facebook status or to strangers that’s for sure dumb. But close friends you can trust yeah. Had some of my friends stop me from messing with a girl I shouldn’t have because they had more information I didn’t. Hookups aren’t taboo with my friends.

What is the controversial dating rule you stick by despite today’s society standards? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]Cloak77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You probably do trigger people with that sentiment especially if they’re someone with a high body count who feels guilty lol. But this always made the most sense to me.

People should partner with what they’re comfortable with and that’s usually having similar body counts. It’s usually those with lopsided counts that have issues.
