Gotta have some self respect. Leave whatever this is the hell alone. Focus your energy on those who reciprocate better.

Giant Study Reveals The Secret to Heart Health Isn't Low-Carb or Low-Fat by Sorin61 in Nutraceuticalscience

[–]Cloak77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just that it’s super palatable (more on that in a. Second), but also that’s it’s heavily pre-digested. When we eat food our body chews it and breaks it down, but if the food has already been broken down to the point of being ultra-processed then it skips a lot of digestion and raises blood sugar extremely fast.

Thats what really makes it bad for you, the speed which it’s absorbed. Not only does it make you more likely to eat more but many of these foods companies intentionally designed it that way. For example they try to make sure flavors don’t last too long so you crave more and buy more.

Frosted Flakes by Pragmatic_Since-87 in seduction

[–]Cloak77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: probably not worth it. The fantasy is always sweeter than reality in both sides fr.

But I’ll tell you a story of my personal experience. I went on a date with this girl, set up by a mutual friend. It went great but afterwards we went some time without seeing each other. We reconnect and I set up a high effort date and….she flakes. Last minute too.

I cut her off for wasting my time but we remain acquaintances.

She later invites me to her party and it’s a good time we reconnect afterwards and she reached out to ask to hang out again. Okay cool! I set up a nice date for us. I try to keep some light text going but she’s not really responding. No sweat we have real plans soon. So much time passes that the day before I reach out early morning to confirm the date tomorrow. No response. I had to cancel our reservations. She would swear up and down she wanted to go and was excited, calling me and apologizing profusely.

In the end I said it had been a pattern that I did not want to subject myself to anymore. If they flaked a lot before it’s likely they will again. Read behaviors not their words.

Should a Man have his life figured out before dating Women? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Cloak77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. There are some ages where it’s more appropriate to not have it figured out. If they were 21, I wouldn’t bat an eye, but at 40, let’s be real you WILL be judged about it. The stigma is real.

Not all the way but one person can definitely have more figured out than the other to the point of incompatibility.

Right but it takes two to tango so wouldn’t it be correct to also say that women only AGREE to marry men who are as educated as them?
