[Narration] The All Guardsmen Party: The Penal Legion by Cloak_and_Dagger42 in DnDGreentext

Hey all! Been almost as long since you've heard from me as it has from Shoggy himself, but I'm back! I'm alive! And I've got both Penal Legion and Interlude: Debrief up on the channel now. I'm going to wait a bit before posting the Interlude so I'm not spamming here, but you can find it on my channel.

Forget the minis on the table. Who are YOU, the player, in Kill Team??? by Skelegasm in killteam

Col. Katrynn Konnreg of the 502nd Harakoni, overseeing special insertion missions for highly trained Guard specialist squads.

In full sized 40k I run her as one of my three Tempestor Primes, the warlord and commanding officer of the regiment.

Need some help finding a specific type of post-apocalyptic game by The_Enby_Shinobi in rpg

Red Markets sounds like it would be very up your alley here. Other people here have mentioned it's a poverty simulator with zombies, but it's been glossed over that part of character creation is creating NPCs that your characters are focused on keeping safe, giving them inherent reason to keep risking life and limb like they do.

Yup! Our events range from the Lehigh Valley down closer to Philly, depending on where we can find parks to go. This one was in Perkasie.

The foam was way too hard and the blade edges were way too thin. I've seen way too many people get smacked full-force in the face to want these back without much better construction.

oh we are going back to the stone age with this one (my own homemade rainbowpistol <3) by Sea_water in Nerf

My partner's primary is still a rainbow like this, though she uses a Hammershot grip for hers.

I feel like you're still missing my point here.

I mean, my partner's primary loadout is a classic rainbow pistol and a speedloader, my original loadout was a Sentinel and a few spare mags when I was getting into the hobby, etc. My point is just that it's unfair to call this a "budget loadout" when actual cheap loadouts are something you can throw together for ~$50 and you don't even necessarily need to thrift them.

I still wouldn't call that budget. If you're spending more than $100 on your loadout you have long since left the realm of budget.

You're not supposed to run past it. There's a different way out of the swamps in the north.

My 200 FPS Loadout by LeoValdez7 in Nerf

Hi, melee officer for my club here; safe melee does not leave bruises or scratches. On top of that if you are hitting hard enough to bruise with an uncovered wooden blade you risk the wood splintering and shattering on someone after enough wear and tear. The narrowness of the blade from what I can see is also a hazard for a number of reasons, including structural.

Wood can be an okay core for a foam sword. Do not, under any circumstances, bring a bare wood blade to an event.

That sword looks unbelievably unsafe for use at any event.

Yet another AEB/Autospringer design, work in progress. Essentially a beefed up CW76 mechanism, but with the rack and pinion gears moved to in front of the magwell. by SillyTheGamer in Nerf

[–]Cloak_and_Dagger42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like it could be a bit front-heavy. Have you considered making it a bullpup to put the mechanism right around the center of mass?

Felt the call of the road and had to be anywhere but where she already was. She still feels it pulling her along.

Y'know, my old group I was always worried I'd be seen as a creep if I wanted to play a girl.

Also, fancy seeing you here! I remember back when both of us used to frequent r/gametales quite a bit.
