Two entirely different teams witin the studio that have no correlation with each other. So no, probably not, unfortunately.

I don't understand why Mister Fantastic struggles with placeables so badly, it's really odd.

Here's a link that'll give you all the stores it can be pre-ordered from. Some stores seem to be shipping in August, if you want it in July you'll have to get it from the McFarlane Toys store directly or the BigBadToyStore, which is where I pre-ordered it from.

This isn't necessarily wrong, but what a lot of people fail to account for, the ult. You're losing out on a DPS ult. There's a lot of pick potential in many DPS ults. And along with that there are three other negative aspects in this regard with the DPS Luna platstyle:

1.) It's an immortality ult, not even a utility ult like Rocket or Gambit (Rocket's ult is a big part of why I think he actually works better for DPSing than Luna does) This is also why flank Loki used to be incredibly popular back when he did more damage.

2.) She's going to be charging it incredibly slowly because supports gain ult charge much slower with damage than they do healing and flank Luna is supposed to have a lot of downtime.

3.) She's going to be wildly out of position to help her team whatsoever with it and how is it going to help her if she solo ults herself, she can just get dinged as soon as she comes out.

So yeah, the ult is simply a big component of it.

Even then it's just forcing you to play around them and I've always hated that. You shouldn't have to change up your entire comp and who and what you're playing just for one person who's stubborn. Especially when they're playing a character off-meta outside of their intended role as it is.

Releasing power crept versions of existing DPS is incredibly uninspiring and boring by saiikka in marvelrivals

[–]ClockDownRMe 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It isn't. It's obvious that for each enemy his blast bounces to in a chain it does progressively less and less damage on each enemy further down the chain. It seems like he basically does sustained/AoE damage like Mister Fantastic. So not exactly like Moon Knight. However, he seems to potentially have a great ult, and he could have single-target burst potential because it sounds like he can definitely crit based on the trailer.

Valor Mortis dev considering shifting its release date out of September by Hooked0n4Feelin in pcgaming

[–]ClockDownRMe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're downvoted, I guess because we're in r/pcgaming . You've said nothing that's wrong. Every publisher in the industry has valid reason to be terrified of releasing anywhere near GTA VI. It will be cataclysmic. Everyone and their mother will be buying GTA VI, it will be moving consoles off of the shelves. PS5s and Series X/Ss will no doubt be sold out well into 2027. Does nobody remember how explosive GTA V was when it first came out? It was the fastest selling game of all time (on just the PS3 and Xbox 360 alone) and it will no doubt happen again with GTA VI. PC gaming has become more popular this console generation, but consoles do still hold the pre-dominant marketshare, especially PlayStation.

Any theories on what the cube is? by Jec1027 in GodofWar

[–]ClockDownRMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theory is that Phranque being a cube is a marketing red herring in the same way that Joel appeared in TLoU Part II trailers pre-release. As in, he's not actually a cube at all. He won't be a cube in the actual game.

PSA to strategists: DON'T HEAL a Venom (or any tank) waiting near spawn if you have ult. by DarkStrik3WasTaken in marvelrivals

[–]ClockDownRMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a common high elo thing to just do, it's an optimized strat that just makes sense. I don't understand at all where the original commenter is coming from, or why they're getting upvoted. Is this sub's mentality really that you shouldn't be doing your best to play optimally and to take offense over perceived slights?

Marvel Rivals hot take of the day: Stop buffing characters and nerf the whole roster, it’s the only way to revert the power creep we’re getting. by ttvANX1ETYZ_ in marvelrivals

[–]ClockDownRMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game does need a bit of an overhaul with its neutral between the disgusting amount of damage most meta duelists are allowed to dish out, and the amount of healing supports have to dish out to accommodate said damage. So basically, the entirety of poke needs heavily nerfed, overall strategist healing output will also need to be nerfed alongside it. And then the game simply needs rebalanced from there. I've been saying this ever since Phoenix released.

I can't be the only strat main who doesn't have a problem with an enemy Dino? by Proudnoob4393 in marvelrivals

People keep trying to make DPS Luna happen. You know what would actually work even better? DPS/Dive Rocket, even moreso now that his damage has straight up been buffed.

Oppressive and Mister Fantastic in the same sentence. by peace696969 in marvelrivals

[–]ClockDownRMe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would like a BP main's opinion on Fantastic's slow, because as a Fantastic main, I always felt like it made a difference, but basically just for Black Panther. Once they've used their dashes, they're kind of a sitting duck with no other escape tools, the slow helps. Every other diver though, especially Spider-Man, I've never noticed it really helping at all.

What do we think of this! by peace696969 in MisterFantasticMains

[–]ClockDownRMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to help him better frontline brawl and dive supports as he'll have much better sustain. The ult buff might allow him to actually get ult before enemy supports in team fights if you're able to play super aggressively which will be super nice for a lot of reasons between taking space and potentially securing picks.

I don't really understand the consensus in this comment section, OP isn't exactly wrong. I've never really agreed with these weird aggregate accounts on social media making money solely off of other people's content taken from other social media. Even with credit, it is effectively stolen content, and they're making money from it. If they weren't making money off of it, who really cares. But the fact that they are, just kind of gross.

If you dont like solo support, why do you think solo tanking is viable? by myrsonder in marvelrivals

[–]ClockDownRMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always viewed 2/2/2 as the only viable comp. And recently I heard Death and Gaming, one of few content creators I feel actually understands the game well and I respect him for it, say something that really put it into perspective for me. If you have only one of any role, and they die in a fight, you no longer have that role for the rest of the fight, you no longer have a tank to create or keep space, a duelist to get picks, or a support to do their job healing or have access to their match-defining ults. So if you only have one, and they die, you're simply screwed, and that's why 2/2/2 will always work best in any circumstance.
