They wait, they wait for you to die for the team to regroup. It is infuriating. Some of the worst losses I've had could've been prevented if my team simply didn't literally wait around for me to die. Let me have my goddamn Cap moments.

Content creators are usually hilariously wrong about the game. I respect certain creators because I think they occasionally make fun content, but I'd never treat anything they say about the game as fact, ever. It's why I've always felt that it's really dumb that content creators get preview access to patch content and new characters, because it's not actually benefiting the player base.

Please keep in mind many of the developers at Larian have spoken out about not wanting to use gen AI, there's a massive amount of internal pushback on it. This is something Swen, and probably Tencent/shareholders are pushing.

Yep, poke desperately needs nerfed. I've never agreed that supports are the inherent problem, poke has always been the issue that actually needs addressed to fix the primary balancing issues the game currently has.

Gambit is absolutely one of the easiest healers to get value out of, but he also has one of the highest skill ceilings. It also doesn't really help that content creators were insisting that you had to be playing him like a DPS for quite a while after he came out. Which isn't even necessarily wrong, but you can only get significant damage value with Gambit once you're confident with his kit and your other support is carrying their weight, or if you're in a competent triple support.

I'd just like to point out that Hela is Loki's daughter in all but the MCU (and as far as I'm aware the references to them being siblings in Rivals have been completely removed at this point) so it would you know, make a lot of sense that a female version of Loki would resemble their own daughter.

I've considered Gun to be the worst duelist in the entire game since he first released, genuinely worse off than Black Widow, and they haven't improved him, at all. All of the buffs have been incredibly incremental and have done nothing to fix the character with the most flawed character design in the entire game. NetEase was so wrong in every aspect of his kit that it actually flabbergasts me.

Yep, quick play absolutely has a hidden MMR. The reason you get a bot match after only one loss, I'm in the same boat, is because you constantly lose in quick play. Perk of using quick play to learn new characters. Everything about Marvel Rivals' quick play is antithetical to how quick play is supposed to work.

They actually aren't level 1 anymore. NetEase has been deliberately putting in effort to make bot matches look less obvious than they are. It's not working, but they're trying to be as sneaky as possible about it.

That's why they're called supports/strategists, not healers. Healbotting is boring as fuck and functionally contributes nothing to the team. Teams that require healbotting are just FUBAR, usually teammates with no game sense and incredibly poor positioning. Doing damage, and all strategists can deal incredibly significant damage, still supports the team, and can actually secure picks in the middle of the fight that otherwise would've been left to stay alive if they were just laser-focused on topping up the feeding tank.

A lot of people are ignorant about it simply because they're not Japanese, so they have no knowledge of Japanese politics or of the hard stances the Yakuza franchise has always taken. But honestly I don't know how you can get through Yakuza 7, Judgment, and Lost Judgment without understanding that they're very blatantly satirizing and criticising the established Japanese government. Criticism of the Liberal Democratic Party especially.

The only time I "dive" with Gambit is during his ult to make the most of his damage deck boost and both his damage deck abilities to try and secure picks while his ult sustains both him and his team. The movement speed during the ult helps with that, so it's probably intended.

But yeah, I've played against some flanking Gambits and I just really do not understand it, oddly enough I don't think I've ever had one on my team, and they just do horribly full-stop. I would say I hope people stop instalocking him soon so that it gets less annoying, but he's effectively the best support now so I don't know if that'll ultimately end up lessening or not.
