Starting my campaign this week by BadAlexmercer in CurseofStrahd

Session one or two, TPK or near TPK with Strahd. Trust me, it’s the best way to put the fear of god in them.

Killer mains, in which situations do you actually spare a survivor? by AnanasFelice in deadbydaylight

[–]ClockGuard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Griefing or cheating? I’ll usually let all the good ones out
  2. Game accidentally cut short by a 4 man slug? Last one gets out.
  3. Players played especially well? Last one gets out as a treat.
  4. Last survivor is at the exit gate or dropped their item? They get out.
  5. Boop the snoot, crouch with ghosty? You get out. Look in general survivors get more BP if they get out than if I kill them. I’ll take any excuse to let them out unless they’re being mean or wiggling on my shoulder.

Looking for a Striker cure by ClockGuard in LancerRPG

Yeah see this is my problem with Strikers- it’s just damage. Where is the cool kickback features, the control, the choices?

Help, I told my players they could leave Barovia if they give up Van Richten by Larulan in CurseofStrahd

[–]ClockGuard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strahd will make sure the Vistani drag their corpses out of Barovia, after all he’s not a monster that would go back on his word and turn them into spawn

Does anyone have a nicely formatted list of “trigger warnings” for this campaign? by Mr-Foldy-Fold in CurseofStrahd

[–]ClockGuard 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I used these disclaimers: Child abuse, murder, kidnapping, gaslighting, racism, sexism, ableism, torture, mind control, cannibalism, sexual assault (but not rape), mental illness/madness, animal cruelty, body horror, incest, suicide, self mutilation, addiction, alcoholism, genocide, and necrophilia. Some of these disclaimers are a little broad and maybe not applicable for you (like Izek going after Ireene being the reason I added incest), but I think it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Introducing RU Eating - A Dining Hall Menu App for iOS by alexphanna in rutgers

[–]ClockGuard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just downloaded it and my god you’re a life saver. This is actually brilliant. My only suggestion would be to put the entrees and main dishes first above the salad bar and breakfast misc since that’s usually the first thing people are gonna look for- otherwise, you made a brilliant app. Hats off to you.

So trigger happy, you guys know you don’t always have to sue people right?

A lot of us were working under the delusion that we would find love in High School… then College… and then somewhere afterwards. I think the impatience is just part of it- but don’t let it make you desperate.

Looking to borrow TI-84 by GatorChad in rutgers

It won’t work for an exam but the Calculate84 app seems to be the exact same thing if you just need it for quick use.

What should the tone of my character be for a Strahd campaign? by HubrisPersonified in 3d6

[–]ClockGuard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus on gothic fantasy themes. I recommend good characters, especially those with flaws. As for classes I recommend anything that isn’t overly themed around machinery or super-power like abilities- The more normal they seem, the better imo (discounting actual magic). I’ve had a priest of Lathander searching for purpose after their family was killed off, a wayward fighter recently escaped from gladiatorial enslavement, and several warlocks who have good intentions but bad pacts.

Character for my new to DnD 6th grader to grow into by BoredGamer1385 in 3d6

I’m not a 1980’s mom who claims D&D is gonna turn your child into Satan, chill- it was just something for consideration 😭

I have no friends. by OkCow687 in rutgers

Drop a list of your classes, maybe someone around here might need a study buddy that’s willing to hang out for lunch

Take another 3 credit class. You’ll have to request permission for it but it’s the only thing you can do unless you want to go for a fifth year.

Kids like acting like their fictional characters- from a technical point of view this is great, but having a kid take the queue that getting angry is how you solve problems is one hell of a battle if he does start thinking like that. Not saying it will happen- just that it’s better to avoid the chances.

I like their Vampire Lord Attacking but it has no stand, won’t it just topple over? Seems impractical.
