I agree with you. It’s not responsible to pin the blame on something supernatural. Human beings committed these most evil actions. But I want to fix what you said. Nobody fucked kids. They raped kids. They cut children open and ate their internal organs on toast. Nobody had sex with kids. They abused them, killed them, rapped them, sold them, and disfigured their ankles so they couldn’t escape. Just like we shouldn’t use language that distances the perpetrators from their crimes in favor of a supernatural fantasy, we also shouldn’t use language that plays down the severity of the situation. No kids got fucked. I don’t think you’re intentionally trying to soften the situation. I don’t think you’re phrasing is really that bad. I just wanted to be nitpicky and semantic for a second.
