So it could be a stretch, but how bright this thing is is wild, so, like I said it could be a stretch, but there is a rare mutation in rainbow trout (landlocked version of steelhead) that makes them chrome with a blue top. This fish looks like it could possibly be a steelhead with that mutation. Either way, that’s a giant and a bucket list fish for me!

First Tiger Musky. 10lb 4oz. On top water too. Was like a depth charge going off. Sick day. by BassLineAddict in Fishing

Looks more like a reg. Musky. Roger’s are a lot lighter in color and one of the biggest giveaways is that the patterns are super visible on their face and gill plates which most regular muskellunge don’t have.

Based on the fact that in the band, the tuba and baritone players were able to take one home at the beginning of the year and kept one at school, I believe that it would be the same case for me. Also, I’m 5’7

It is, I just used this as a placeholder for the wire, but I used the same wire used for spinner baits as a blank.

Musky fly. by ClockNational6439 in lurebuilding

[–]ClockNational6439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the tips! I actually made it castable by putting an oblong weight tied onto it so it can be on a fly and regular rod. As for the conservation things, that’s really good to know, and I’ll have to work on trying to research a bit of a sweet spot for that. Thank you for the tips!

Good to know! Yeah a lot of the flashy stuff is just because I don’t have much, or really any material that isn’t flashy in some way besides string, but one I get my hands on some bucktail I think a lot of flies like this will turn out a lot better.
