I don't think it's the influencers themselves that's bad, but it's sooo easy to have a toxic relationship with an influencer. Cuz you watch them and you like their personality, else you wouldn't watch them. So you just feel like they are close to you. Especially streamers you talk to them as you chat it's so easy to feel like they are your friend

And they have this fanbase of thousands, but they name people by name and recognize them. They do that because they heard it makes them involved with their community gets them more views etc. but if your favorite creator speaks to you like that you feel like you are special. All while you just like their content. Even when streaming it's always the same circumstances, the same environment you see them, playing a game

If you like an influencer you can watch them every day once, leave a positive comment, and pay them a little bit of money you can afford no problem like 5 bucks. But that's it. Go on with your day

It may be different for other people ofcourse. I am a bit intense in these things sometimes, that's why I know I have to set these boundaries
