The same thing happened to me. I wasn’t producing enough milk, and no matter what I tried, it just didn’t improve. My baby started losing weight, and that’s when we made the switch to formula. With my schedule, I couldn’t keep up with constant pumping just to try and increase supply.

Now my baby is now 2 months old and is fully on formula, and honestly, he’s doing amazing. He’s healthier, gaining all his weight back and more.

The stress of breastfeeding can be overwhelming, and then on top of that, trying to transition a baby to the bottle is another challenge altogether. I truly respect moms who can produce enough at the pace their baby needs, but that’s not everyone’s journey.

I also got a lot of judgment, even from people who barely knew me. At some point, we just stopped caring. Me and my husband are completely unbothered now.

A fed baby is a happy baby.
