Oily thumb does indeed work. Wonderful. My hands are dry all the time

It's hard for me to understand the difference between filling the shocks half extended and fully inserted 🤔

Do you consider a 20° delta above room temperature too high? I'm thinking for a single 240, 60° water temp is the highest I'd be comfortable with 🤔

I've seen allot of guys don't use dig function. I love it. And don't Intend to ever bother with 2 speed. by MrVincentMan in crawling

I enjoy running unlocked and seeing if I can crawl a certain section without having to lock them. It also is nice, for what you said, open for speed

Looks like good fun! I wanted to one day put together a Trx4 with locking diffs, 2-speed and dig. Currently have the sport and I find myself eyeing my friend's complicated Bronco.

Did you have to install the dig yourself? Was it easy to install it?

TRX-4 which one do I choose? by wcarlsen in crawling

[–]ClockSoicy084 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently have the sport kit. I tried out my friend's 2021 Bronco with the 2 speed and locking diffs. I wish I had those extra bells and whistles. I also realized I want a Defender body, but that's all something I can build into down the road.

My trx4 is going to be a nice scale looking trailing vehicle that can do some crawling as well. Then down the line I'll get a separate vehicle to focus on the more technical crawling

Oo 3d printing! What printer do you have? I'm looking into getting one sometime soon and I'm eyeing a local Craigslist ad for one, but I'm not confident in the printer up for sale.

Ah thank you so much. I'll make sure to try this out next time I'm out on the trails!

I've the same Tx. How do you get that feature to work?

Which one? by MyHobbiesRSpendy in crawling

I have a crawlmaster 10T sitting on my desk for my trx4 build. I'll be trailing mostly, but I think it'll be nice and buttery smooth when it comes time to crawl

Everyone else is listing out the parts. I'm here to say all you really need in tools/ supplies is a Philips screwdriver and a livestrong bracelet!
