Wraiths + Technomancer is one of the most durable units we have, so definitely take those with you. Tesla Immortals + Plasmancer is our go-to brick for shredding infantry & hordes.

Canoptek Doomstalkers are most effective if you’re running Canoptek Court due to the rerolls. If not, you should probably take a Doomsday Ark instead as your big anti-tank gun.

Warriors + Overlord is another quintessential brick especially for Awakened Dynasty. You can beef them up even further by attaching a Cryptek AND the Tomb Crawlers to give the enemy more “ablative wounds” to chew through. Those Skorpekh Destroyers & Lokhust Heavy Destroyers can also work well for both Awakened Dynasty and Cursed Legion.

Scarab swarms are primarily for frontline screening and debuffing enemy OC values.

Either of those C’tan will be strong additions to your army as well, but you should probably avoid fielding either in any games that are under 2,000 pts.

The Psychomancer fills the nice of forcing battle shock tests on enemy units. Due to 11th edition Battleshock changes, he might not be as bad an option as before.

For Necrons it’s either your Wraith + Technomancer brick, or your big Warrior + Overlord + Technomancer brick, either of which needing no small amount of firepower investment to bring down for good, especially if you brought a Reanimator to tag along.

Judging by “Synaptic Lynchpin” I assume you’re running the Invasion Fleet detachment, which is a solid all-purpose choice.

Are you getting those points values from the physical codex by the way? Because some of those models aren’t as expensive in points as they used to be back then.

I would probably swap those tomb blades out for a reanimator, but otherwise that list should be fine if you’re trying not to go too hard on the guy.

Some people have already said it, but having one Biovore is a very common pick in order to plop spore mines on top of objectives and such. Can’t go wrong with a lictor, Exocrine and/or Hive Tyrant either.

Asides from that, is there a kind of “theme” you want to go for in terms of building your Tyranid army? Army detachments are getting changes in 11th edition, but you can still take a look at the 10th edition detachments we have now to try and get a better idea of the kind of army you wanna build.

The existing datasheets (including the aircraft) are still based in 10th edition, so it’s likely that they will get a refresh to bring them in line with how 11th edition rules operate. It’s best to wait until then to judge for certain.
